Holocaust Remembrance Service 2026. Over 200 people gathered for our Holocaust Remembrance Service in a time of reflection, prayer, and remembrance.

A big thank you to Vickie Gaynier for sharing The Life & Testimony of Corrie ten Boom with our congregation. If you were interested in having her share at your congregation or event, you can reach out to her on her website https://www.vickiegaynier.com we first met her at the creation museum.

Cantor Paul, along with our elders, led us in prayer and meaningful songs, including Hatikvah, the national anthem of Israel.

Together, leaders from different faith communities; rabbis, pastors, and other community leaders lit seven nerot neshamah (memorial candles) in honor of the many groups who were murdered during the Holocaust, both Jewish and non-Jewish victims.

We also paused to reflect on why remembering atrocities matters, so that the lessons of history are not forgotten. Anti-Semitism and hate are anti-God. In addition, we distributed ‘Stand Up to Jewish Hate’ pens to raise awareness.

Hope of Israel Congregation hosted this special telling of Corrie's story during their Yom HaShoah service this year. It brought special meaning to this reminder of unchecked evil in the world. If it was not for faithful Christians in the world the Jewish people would have ceased to exsist.

Join us for a meaningful Holocaust Remembrance Service as we reflect, remember, and honor the lives forever impacted by history.

Come remember. Come reflect. Come be inspired by a story of faith, courage, and the power of forgiveness.

We will experience a powerful life and testimony reenactment of Corrie Ten Boom, brought to life by Vickie Gaynier.

Born in Amsterdam on April 15, 1892, Corrie was a Dutch Christian who, along with her father and family, helped many Jews escape the N**i Holocaust during World War II. For her courage and faith, she was imprisoned-but by God's grace, she survived.
Corrie later shared her story around the world, becoming a powerful voice of forgiveness and hope. She passed away in Placentia on April 15, 1983, at the age of 91.

This past Saturday, we celebrated First Fruits & the Resurrection of our Messiah together 🌾 “But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” 1 Corinthians 15:20

We joyfully honored God’s Word with a Torah procession carrying the scroll among the congregation with music and dancing as a visible expression of reverence, gratitude, and unity.

As a Messianic community, we celebrate not only the written Word that guides our lives, but also Yeshua, the Living Word, who dwells among us.

John 1:14- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

God’s Word is not distant, but living and active in our midst sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 paraphrase
