We thank the Lord for His protection and mercies. Our brethren in Caracas and church buildings were spared following the June 24 earthquakes. Now, brethren across the country are responding to the humanitarian needs of relatives and their community.
Despite limitations, the brethren have responded immediately. Churches in other parts of the country have begun gathering what they can, and the church in San Cristóbal became a collection center overnight for clothing and shoes.
The needs extend far beyond what local congregations can provide. If you’d like to join in this emergency relief effort to help provide food, clean drinking water, medical supplies, clothing, and spiritual encouragement to affected individuals, please visit sdarm.org/donations
