Westminster Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America located in the Blue Ridge mountains of Roanoke, Virginia. Westminster was founded in 1915 on Melrose Avenue in downtown Roanoke, moving to its current location in 1957 just south of the corner of Peters Creek Road and Cove Road in Northwest Roanoke. Westminster joined the PCA in 1973, just as the new denomination was forming. In the last few years, Westminster has planted Christ the King Presbyterian Church in South Roanoke and continues to be a gospel proclaiming church on the north side with a desire to reach Salem, Roanoke, and Botetourt County for Christ.
