Just a reminder that we're collecting new school supplies for our program families as the next school year approaches. Many of our families struggle with the costs of providing school supplies for their children's classes, so we aim to help ease a bit of that burden. ** MISSIONS WEEKEND - "The World in Our Backyard"

Saturday, April 20: The World in Our Backyard. Here are the details of the Saturday activity for us to engage with the international community right here in Roanoke. Do this activity with your family or a group of friends in your neighborhood!

Sunday, April 21, 10 am: Our weekly time of worship will include a guest preacher who trains pastors in West Africa.

After Church on Sunday: Please plan to stay for lunch, where we’ll have a chance to hear from Filip Ivanov, a pastor we support in North Macedonia.

For the after-church lunch, COR will provide the main dish, and we ask families to consider bringing a side dish or dessert to share!

This is the last weekend before our annual toy store opens up! If you are out and about this weekend, please consider purchasing some toys towards the store so that our parents are able to provide for their kids with dignity and without breaking the bank.

This fall we'll be hosting a Faith & Finances class in collaboration with Friendship House Roanoke, Inc.- VA . Classes will be on Thursday mornings here in our COR offices. We need allies to attend class as encouragers and advocates for the participants. We already have 6 women participants so we especially need women to be allies.

A new school year is quickly approaching! While you're picking up canned goods for Friendship House grab some school supplies as well! Backpacks are especially needed.

Bring them all on First Sunday Share on August 6.
