Due to the weather, all in-person events are canceled for tomorrow, January 25, 2026.

"He gives snow like wool;

Psalm 147:16-17

The same mighty, holy God who controls the weather and could so easily toss us to judgment like he can icy crystals, is the same one who extends mercy through his Son by applying a right(eous) record to our account when we believe in His Son by faith.

Romans 3:21-25: "21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

HUGE NEWS!!!!! We're grateful to God and to Westminster Presbyterian Church for their generous, kingdom-minded hearts to sell their building to us, effective TODAY. We are excited about the future of SGCC, and for WPC as this also enables them to do more ministry in Roanoke. Beginning this Sunday, SGCC will be meeting in our new home at 2216 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24017. Our service time has officially changed to 10:30am.
