The master was full of praise. "Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!" (NLT) -Matthew 25:21
We hear about many instant huge success stories, but don't be fooled. Almost always, they start out from one small success. The beauty of small is that it gives you the encouragement and one additional bit of experience to create the next small success. These successes build on top of one another and over time, gives you an advantage and skill set to do great things. Take the "small" that God has trusted you with and make it a success. Is there a big goal that you desire to tackle but just can't seem to start? Trust in God and take the first small step with a giant leap of faith.

If we fill our hours with regrets of yesterday and with worries of tomorrow, we have no today in which to be thankful. We are the objects of God’s grace; let him be the object of our gratitude. ~RevEHS

Faith
Faith in God is a belief in God's existence and trust in His character, promises, and actions. It involves a deep personal reliance and hope that God will fulfill His word. Faith is not just intellectual agreement but a way of life that involves trusting God in all aspects of life and seeking His guidance. It also involves hope for a better future. Examples of faith in action include Abraham's faith, Jesus' miracles, and living a life of prayer, gratitude, and service. Faith provides strength in difficult times, a sense of purpose, hope for the future.Faith in God is trust in God, based on a true understanding of who He is, as revealed in the Bible. It involves an intellectual assent to the facts concerning God and a life-changing reliance on those facts. Faith in God has several components, including believing in God's existence, commitment, and accepting Him as He has revealed Himself in Scripture. For genuine faith, it must be based on the genuine God, such as the triune God of the Bible. Scriptures that emphasize faith include Hebrews 11:1, which defines faith as the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:6 states that without faith, it is impossible to please God. Romans 10:17 declares that faith comes by hearing the word of Christ. Other verses highlight the importance of faith in prayer (Matthew 21:22), salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9), and daily living (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Here's a more detailed look at some key scriptures about faith:
Hebrews 11:1:
This verse provides a definition of faith: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen".
Hebrews 11:6:
This verse emphasizes the necessity of faith: "And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him".
Romans 10:17:
This verse connects faith to hearing the word of God: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ".
Matthew 21:22:
This verse highlights the power of faith in prayer: "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith".
Ephesians 2:8-9:
This verse emphasizes that salvation is by grace through faith: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a reward for your good deeds".
2 Corinthians 5:7:
This verse speaks of living by faith: "For we live by faith, not by sight". Goodnight ~RevEHS

“A Revival in the Wilderness!”

05/23/2023

Psalm 103:2-5, NLT Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
Counting your Blessings.......
Always count the blessings in your life. Never take them for granted. People spend so much time thinking about what they don't have that they miss enjoying what they do have. There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.Choosing to see all of life's experiences and surprises as blessings allows joy to abound. Searching for those little, daily miracles that might otherwise be overlooked or missed adds immeasurable gratefulness to our lives. And a grateful spirit is a solid protection against negativity. See life in its abundance and choose to be amazed and grateful.
Five ways to count your blessings:
1.More smiling, less worrying. More compassion, less judgment. More blessed, less stressed. More love, less hate.
2 .Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.
3.Count your blessings instead of your crosses;Count your gains instead of your losses.Count your joys instead of your woes;Count your friends instead of your foes.4.Let us always, count our blessings. To be thankful for your family and friends. To be thankful for the simple things that life has to offer.5.Count your blessings and be grateful for the things you have, the people you know, and the person you are. You see some people come in our lives as blessings. Some come in your life as lessons. Because having a grateful ,blessed attitude isn't getting what you want but wanting what you have.~Various Authors
