PARAGUAY UPDATE:

Recently the Alternative Radio Station celebrated 27 years of radio broadcast ministry in Paraguay!

Alternativa Radio 92.7 continues to be the only Christian FM station in southern Paraguay impacting the country for Christ!

Norberto Kurrle shares: "we have a potential audience of half million people throughout the year!" "Everyday thousands of people have a chance to hear good music and great messages about faith." "We see people's lives impact for Christ through the radio station each day."

This weekend NCAA DI College Softball was played at the Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia! The #11 Virginia Tech Hokies hosted their 2nd Annual Hokie Invite Softball Tournament this weekend at Moyer! We are thankful for our opportunity to use the complex each August! Special place to play!

PARAGUAY UPDATE! MATEO KURRLE!

Interstate Family -- we are excited to report that Marcos & Christiane's son Mateo has successful completed his undergraduate degree in Theology this winter and desires to explore coming to the states in a year to go to seminary!

Upon his recent graduation he was offered a job by a local church in Asuncion (capital city) Paraguay to work with mission work at the local university. The church has a mission reaching out to the college students, inviting them to church, providing meals and Bible study opportunities. Mateo shared this is the next step in his life's ministry work and he is excited to build relationships and share Christ with students in Asuncion!

We praise God for the NEXT GENERATION of the Kurrle family in Paraguay following the Lords call on their lives! Some of the tournament funds will go to support Mateo and his new position at the church in Asuncion ministering to the unsaved students attending the university! Please be in prayer for Mateo and the transition into his new position! We are excited to hear stories of Mateo's impact for the kingdom!

Interstate Prayer Request:

Tournament family please be in prayer for long time tournament participant Eli Smith (Alabama) and his family. Eli's sister expectedly passed away recently and the funeral is today. We pray the Lord will be near the entire Smith family during this difficult time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026!

Interstate Tournament family we pray you all have a wonderful New Year's Day and we pray the Lord will continue to bless each of you in the year ahead!

We are excited for all the Lord has ahead this year! Do not forget this years dates are August 29 & 30, 2026!! We are praying for the Lord to continue to use softball as a vehicle to impact lives for Christ while raising funds for mission work in Paraguay, South America!

PARAGUAY UPDATE!

The entire Kurrle family was able to meet today to celebrate Christmas, Martin's Birthday and to be together ahead of the New Year! This was the first time all fall that the entire Kurrle family was able to be together!

We praise God the Kurrle family and all their ministry work for the Lord in Paraguay! Thank you Interstate Church of God Softball Tournament church teams for ALL your support for Paraguay missions each year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Interstate Church of God Softball Tournament family!!

We pray you all have a wonderful day with family and friends celebrating the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ! We thank the Lord for each of you and your Church softball ministry throughout the year! Merry Christmas!!

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.
