Beds for kids and Bojangles biscuits—what more could you ask for?

Oak Grove participated in Sleep in Heavenly Peace - VA, Roanoke's Bunks Across America Day today. Along with Lowe’s South Roanoke and a whole lot of United Methodists from Cave Spring UMC, Woodlawn UMC, St. Mark’s UMC, and Rockingham Court UMC, we helped build 50 beds for children in our community.

Many thanks to Lowe’s and all of the sponsors who helped make this event possible! And to Lowe's South Roanoke for the biscuits!!!

And a special shout-out to everyone who donated bedding to help make these beds complete and for future beds as well.
