Wild Goose Field Trip! This week instead of our regular Wild Goose Gathering, we are going to join Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church's Bobby Mitchell concert. Hope to see you there as we are blessed by some truly incredible music!

Bobby Mitchell is an American pianist whose interests are embedded in the here and now of music as performance art, as well as the more standard classical repertory of centuries past. A frequent performer of new and rarely heard works, his interests lie mainly with the contemporary music canon and combining these works with the standard repertoire in an illuminating fashion. An instrumentalist who is not afraid to cross the traditional boundaries of programming and performance practice, he is active as a solo and collaborative concert pianist on modern and historical instruments and is also experienced in the fields of improvisation, composition, and conducting. Wild Goose Christian Community

Wild Goose Christian Community is a nontraditional, inclusive worshiping community in the Bonsack neighborhood. We meet on Thursday evenings. In our new worshiping community, rocking chairs replace pews, lively music brings a smile. After we gather for a potluck supper and fellowship together, there’s time for quiet prayer and a lively discussion of a Bible passage for living today.

Wild Goose: Informal and inclusive, come as you are and need to. Bring your hopes, your sorrows, and your “parched places” for healing, as we talk together in our rocking-chair circle.

You’re Invited: Haven’t found the right fit in a traditional church setting, Wild Goose welcomes those who are not attending traditional church, as well as those who seek additional or alternative worship services.
