Tomorrow is "Back to School" Sunday at 11am. There will be NO Junior Church, so we'll worship together as one church family following Sunday School.

We'll pray over our students, teachers, and families and remind our kids of this important truth: GOD IS WITH ME AT SCHOOL! 💛

What an amazing day! Pastor Eli was ordained to the gospel ministry at Valley View Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN; the church where Eli was discipled, and faithfully invested in by pastors, leaders, and people who loved him. They helped prepare him for the ministry God has called him to.

We’re so thankful for Valley View as the sending church where they faithfully planted and watered in Eli’s life, and we at Gospel Light are incredibly blessed to be the receiving church. We are grateful for the investment his family and his church made in him, and now we count it a privilege to serve alongside Eli and Jenna.

Thank you, Lord, for the team You have put together and for the privilege of serving You! We are excited to see what God will continue to do in and through Eli and Jenna!

God is writing this story and we are grateful to Him for His faithfulness. To God be the glory!

This past Sunday we had the opportunity to honor God’s faithfulness to Gospel Light over the past 47 years.

God has used this church to reach countless souls with the Gospel and to shepherd so many believers into a more intimate relationship with Christ. This was made possible through faithful men like Pastor Earl Clemons, pastor emeritus, whom God called to plant this church.

Forty seven years ago, Pastor Earl and his family cleared the land themselves where Gospel Light now stands. Many years and three building projects later, Gospel Light still stands as a light in the community, on that same property, under the leadership of Pastor Wayne Wyatt.

We are excited to see what God will do in the years to come!

Illuminate hit the ropes course today and had a blast!

If you’re middle or high school, Illuminate Student Ministry meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm and Sunday at 10am. Come check it out!

Remember: no Sunday School tomorrow, but join us at 10:30am for our special homecoming service, with a meal to follow!
