Today, we learned about swimming in the rivers of justice. Our Bible study and worship focused on Jesus’ parable of the workers in the vineyard. We were reminded that God always has a place for us, and that it is our work to make sure there is a place for everyone. On our mission sites, we distributed food, sorted things at a donation center, played water baseball with the campers at Still Meadows Therapy Camp, and spread gravel to prepare a nature walk at a park. This afternoon, we took part in the volleyball tournament, and won our first round game! Neveah helped lead worship, and Alyssa and Morgan took forward our church’s mission offering. We’re going to finish up the day by cheering on our fellow campers at the Variety Show. It’s been a wonderful week of coming to the water!

On our second day of camp, our theme was “Drink.” In worship and Bible study, we talked about how Jesus is the living water who satisfies all our needs. On our mission sites, we did crafts with the campers around a camp for disabled adults, cleaned lots of BIG branches from a path, spread mulch in a park, cared for cows and built fences on a sustainable farm, carried heavy boxes of inventory for a local church ministry, and worked really hard! We ended the night with a fun “Tacky Tourist Beach Party” dance.

Our first full day at Passport Missions has been, well, full! Our theme today was "Float." In Bible study and worship, we focused on the story of Jesus calming the storm and thought about how Jesus is offering us peace in the midst of the storms in our lives. On our mission sites, we sorted clothes at two different ministries, cleared brush and sticks at an equestrian therapy farm, and worked on a dairy farm that supplies food to local families in need. At tonight's Mario Kart Rec Party, we worked with our Bible Study groups to compete against the other teams, get a little wet, and have a lot of fun! We're looking forward to Drinking in God's living water tomorrow!

Picnic on the Playground! We had lots of fun yesterday while we were out of school, taking a picnic to Countryside Park and swinging, playing, laughing, and walking on the Greenway.
