The Apostle Paul's focus on glorifying God overflows into 1 Corinthinians chapter 11. We will see how God receives the glory through his church and in the relationship between the husband and wife and how that correlates with Christ and God the Father.

Join us at 6:30PM this evening for our Wednesday Gathering at CSBC Roanoke. We'll begin with a hymn as we all gather together. Our Children will have their Catechism Class as we have our Business Meeting, followed by a devotion from our TableTalk study on love from the first two articles.

Join us at CSBC Roanoke at 11AM as we continue in our series in First Corinthians this Sunday with a message entitled "Flee From Idolatry" from 1 Corinthians 10. The Apostle Paul reiterates what he has been teaching throughout the first part of his letter to the church in Corinth with more application. The modern church will discover plenty of practical warnings from this passage for the time in which we find ourselves.

CSBC Roanoke has new pew Bibles placed in our newly polished pews this Sunday. We look forward to utilizing them in worship for years to come. We're grateful for the generous donation of the Bibles for our use, as well as gift Bibles that will be made available to guests each Sunday. We look forward to dedicating them to the worship of God in the service. God speaks to us through His Word.

We'll be having our workday at CSBC Roanoke beginning this morning. Some have already been working! It's exciting to see maintenance to enhance our building and grounds inside and outside the church! Join us for our workday (whenever you can this morning) as we do some needed improvements inside and outside the church grounds.

Join us at CSBC Roanoke this evening at 6:30PM. We'll pick up where we left off in our study from TableTalk magazine on Love. Last time, we covered the introduction and the first article as we considered 1 Corinthians 13. We saw the solution to the church in Corinth's problem ultimately being love. Love is the necessity.

Tonight, we will learn what love is Not. We'll begin on page 6 and learn about love's endurance, permanence and priority. We'll continue to the second article entitled: "God Is Love" on page 8. You can access the online version or pick up a copy this evening.
We will have our Children's Catechism this evening as well.
