Fairhaven Ministries Fairhaven is a non-denominational retreat ministry for pastors, missionaries and Christian laypersons Guests come from around the world to experience Fairhaven.

Fairhaven exists to provide a safe, comfortable and confidential place where people can experience rest, renewal and restoration in Christ. The serenity of the natural beauty, combined with the absence of televisions and internet, make Fairhaven an ideal place to unplug and accept Christ's invitation to "come away to a quiet place and rest." (Mark 6:31)

Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountai

ns of East Tennessee, Fairhaven has fourteen chalets and cottages with comfortable accommodations in secluded settings that provide opportunity for rest and renewal. Each chalet and cottage has a kitchen with full-size appliances, one bathroom, a living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a loft with two twin beds. Linens are provided and the kitchens are fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Food service is not provided at Fairhaven, but grocery stores and restaurants are located within easy driving distance. Roaring Creek tumbles over multiple cascades on its way through the mountain valley. A trail system provides guests the opportunity to explore Fairhaven's 100 acres that are beautiful in each season. Spring and summer wild flowers array the woods and meadows, fall colors bring great splendor to the surrounding mountains, and winter snow turns the property into a sparkling wonderland. Whether they come for vacations, reunions, honeymoons, anniversaries, group retreats, sabbaticals or counseling, they leave with a refreshed sense of awe and intimacy with God.

Please join us in welcoming our new Executive Director, Shane Darling, to Trinity Grace Farm!

Shane brings a diverse background in nonprofit leadership, mental health services, biblical coaching, pastoral ministry, and property management. As an ordained minister with a heart for service, he has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges through compassionate support and practical guidance.

His experience leading teams, developing impactful programs, and serving people from a wide range of backgrounds has prepared him well to advance Trinity Grace Farm’s mission of providing meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and support.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Shane is passionate about building a welcoming community where individuals with special needs and their families can experience belonging.

"I am honored to join Trinity Grace Farm and be part of a mission that serves individuals with special needs and their families in such a meaningful way," said Shane. "I look forward to building relationships, expanding opportunities for connection and growth, and helping create a place where every person feels valued, supported, and welcomed."
