It was a long wait, but our church body came together this weekend to get the internet cable from the house to the church house (in the barn) buried at last! Gone are the days of running the cable each Sunday and worrying about it getting damaged if someone drives over it. This is such a huge blessing and enables the church house to be internet equipped at all times. Come visit us soon, and while the long brown line through the yard may be unsightly for a bit, it is a thing of beauty to us!

We recently hosted American Heritage Girls from Blue Springs for their Summer Adventure! It was a hot week but the church house provided a cool spot to work on crafts! We all had a blast!

Yesterday's sermon was about trusting Jesus as your anchor, so we took a group picture with our 'Jesus is my Anchor' sign! Pictured with hosts Erin and Aaron is a man named James who attends regularly with us now. He always has a poem and/or song to share and is happy to have a church family! We are Aaron and Erin Dunn, hosts of the Abundant Life Church House in Roach! We have been married for over 25 years and have 2 grown kids and 2 dogs. Erin's family has had ties to Camden County, MO since the 1800s, and we are thrilled to have purchased our home on J Road in January, 2022. We were blessed to be able to make this our full-time, permanent home in September, 2023. Our church, Abundant Life, is very special to us and we appreciate its adherence to God's Word. We want to share the wonderful Bible teaching Abundant Life offers with those in our new area, meet our neighbors, and form a group of believers for weekly fellowship, so we renovated part of the 'big barn' into a church house! Please come check out the place, introduce yourself, and discover if our church house is the right fit for your walk with the Lord!
