🔥 Last Sunday in Kids-A-Blaze was sooooo good! We are learning about Who Jesus is as LORD, and what it means to make Him Lord over our lives!

🙌 After a powerful time in worship and a very cool skit showing what happens when we give Jesus control of our lives, the kids learned that a Lord has ownership of something, so in order for Jesus to be Lord, we have to surrender ownership of our lives to Him. Not our will, but His will be done!

❤️ Our 5-7 group made some beautiful pictures of what it looks like when we go Our Way, and when we go Jesus' Way! Our 8-10 group wrote down the things in their lives that are important to them, then placed them in a box that represented placing them in the hands of Jesus. Then we prayed over those things and surrendered them to Him!

What an amazing week in Kids-A-Blaze last week! We had a powerful time of worship, fun, games, skits, and activities to learn that Jesus is a King we have access to! He's not some lofty royal figure who doesn't know us or care about us; He's a King who is close, Who knows everything about us, loves us, and wants a relationship with us! ❤️🔥

🙌 Last night in Kids-A-Blaze, we did a recap of what we learned Sunday, which was what the Kingdom of God is...Jesus! We also learned how to access the King.

❤️ After that we took sometime to discuss what it means to belong, the truth about Who we belong to, and we learned about some tools we can use when we feel like we don’t belong.

Everyone was super engaged and Freedom came! 👏👏👏👏

Thank you, Lord for Your Kingdom and the benefits we have as citizens! 👑❤️‍🔥👑❤️‍🔥

We had so much fun last night in Kids A Blaze!!! To celebrate the upcoming Resurrection Sunday, kids got to do a “ little Jesus “ hunt. We learned that just as they had to be diligent and intentional to seek out the hidden Jesus’s, He desires for us to seek Him out wholeheartedly!

We learned that the greatest treasure we could ever find is Jesus, and that only through our relationship with him will come everything that we’ll ever want or need. We also learned that once we’ve “ found “ Jesus, it doesn’t stop there! As followers of Jesus, it’s now our responsibility to go out into the world and help others that don’t know him find Jesus too.

The kids were given an assignment, for each little Jesus they found they were to write out a scripture on a notecard and either give it to so somebody that they think may need it, or to leave it out somewhere random throughout the week to encourage whoever finds it. Because there’s not a single person in the world who doesn’t need a little Jesus. 😉❤️🙌

Today in Kids A Blaze we continued with our lesson from last week about Jesus is King! We learned that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He becomes our King. He is the King of kings, the ruler over all the kings of the Earth!

We learned that though there are many authorities on Earth, none have the power and glory of Jesus, and there is none more kind or loving than OUR King.

The kids got to take part in a super fun demonstration of how Jesus has triumphed over EVERY enemy. They threw bean bags labeled “ Jesus, Love, Cross, and Truth”at water bottles labeled with things like “ Death, Lies, Sin, and Fear.“ They knocked down those “enemies “ just as effortlessly as Jesus knocked down the principalities of darkness, showing that all other kingdoms have to submit to His kingdom; and that even if things in the world look crazy we can have peace, because Jesus is our great King that rules over the world!

We had such a beautiful service last Sunday in Kids-A-Blaze! We entered into a new chapter of knowing Jesus as KING. He is the King Of Glory who reigns over EVERYTHING, and He is a good and righteous King!

After a powerful time of worship and the word, the kids made crowns worthy of the King. They decorated the crowns with different jewels that represent His nature as the King: righteous, kind, just,merciful, loving, forgiving... the list goes on because He's that good!

Then the kids put the crowns on their own heads, as representatives of the King Himself who carry His Spirit and His Kingdom on the inside of them! 🙌👑❤️

🙌 Today in Kids-A-Blaze, we finished up our lesson on Jesus Is Creator with Part 3: All Creation Worships Jesus!

🪐 We learned that Jesus was never created; He was always there and that through Jesus EVERYTHING else, both seen and unseen, was created.

✨️ We learned that all creation worships Jesus... the sun, moon and stars... the plants and animals... even the very rocks worship the One who created them all! Jesus created everything, and He holds it all together. 🙌🌏❤️

The last couple weeks in Kids-A-Blaze have been POWERFUL! The kids learned that Jesus is our Creator. We went over the 7 days of Creation in Genesis with the revelation that Jesus was there, creating with God and as God! After the message, they painted the 7 days of creation as they saw them, and what they created was beautiful! ❤️🙌🙏

We've been learning about how Jesus IS GOD in Kids-A-Blaze! Last Sunday, we had a powerful time of praise & worship, then learned that when Jesus came to earth, He revealed to us the true nature and heart of God. So when we see that Jesus is forgiving, we know that God is forgiving; when we see that Jesus is patient and kind, we know that God is patient and kind; and so forth!

We had 4 boards set up with the words Merciful, Patient, Forgiving, and Loving ... just a few attributes of Jesus/God! The kids wrote on index cards times in their lives when they've seen the love, patience, mercy, or forgiveness of the Lord, and we pinned them to the boards so they can see the true nature of God is at work in their own lives! It was so powerful! ❤️🔥

We also had the opportunity to thank Ms. Cindy for serving with her whole heart in Kids-A-Blaze, and to bless her and pray over her as the Lord calls her to a new season of ministry! God is so good, and we love you, Ms. Cindy!!!

We had such a great time learning that Jesus is GOD yesterday! The kids learned by cutting open an apple to see how the different parts (skin, flesh, core, etc.) make the apple. In the same way, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit make God... they are different functions of the same Person! So when we have a relationship with Jesus... we have relationship with God!
