🔥 VICTORY LOOKS GOOD ON OUR KIDS! 🔥

This Sunday in Kids-A-Blaze, we took a moment to look back at what we’ve been learning: we don’t just talk about the victory Jesus gives us—we WALK in it! 🙌

And the best part? Our kids got to share their own testimonies of how things have already started turning around as they’ve chosen to walk in the victory of Jesus! 🥹🔥

Then we celebrated with Game Day, laughter, fellowship, and Communion—remembering the One who made our victory possible. ✝️🍞🍷

We’re raising up a generation that knows who they are, knows WHOSE they are, and carries the light of Jesus wherever they go!

💛 FRIENDSHIP WITH JESUS 💛

This Sunday in Kids-A-Blaze, we learned that making Jesus Lord of our lives isn’t about following a religious list of do’s and don’ts—it’s about entering into a real, loving friendship with Him! ❤️‍🔥

Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” — John 14:15

We don’t obey Jesus simply because we have to… we obey Him because we LOVE Him and WANT to! 🙌

Ms. Heather and Ms. Stacey brought the lesson to life with a skit showing two very different kinds of friendship. One friend said they were a best friend, but never wanted to spend time together, never wanted to give anything, and was never available. The other friendship was close, intentional, sacrificial, and full of love.

It led us to an important question:

💭 What kind of friend are WE to Jesus?

Do we only say that He’s our Best Friend, or do our lives show it? Do we spend time with Him? Talk to Him? Listen to Him? Make room for Him? Give Him our obedience? ❤️

To help the kids remember, they made their own Friendship Bracelets for Jesus! 🥰 Each color represented something special, and the kids were intentional about choosing the colors they wanted their bracelets to carry.

And the timing couldn’t have been more perfect as they head BACK TO SCHOOL! ✏️📚

Our prayer is that every time they look down at their bracelet this week, they’ll remember:

✨ Jesus is with me.
✨ Jesus is my Friend.
✨ I can talk to Him anywhere.
✨ I obey Him because I love Him.
✨ I can live for Jesus everywhere I go—even at school!

We’re not raising kids who simply know about Jesus. We want to raise a generation who KNOW Him, LOVE Him, walk with Him, and call Him Friend. ❤️‍🔥

This Sunday in Kids-A-Blaze, we learned that following Jesus is about so much more than simply saying we love Him—it's about obeying Him. ❤️

The kids had a blast making instant pudding together, but there was a lesson hidden in every step. We talked about how reading the instructions alone doesn't make the pudding... you have to actually follow them! In the same way, reading God's Word isn't enough—we're called to obey it and live it out.

We also had an incredible time of praise and worship and laughed our way through a fun skit that showed the difference between someone who truly follows Jesus and someone who only says they do. Jesus taught that the evidence of our love for Him is our obedience.

📖 "But I will do what the Father requires of Me, so that the world will know that I love the Father..." — John 14:31

Our prayer is that these amazing kids would grow into disciples who don't just know about Jesus, but who love Him with all their hearts and joyfully follow Him every day. 💙🙌

🔥 Encounter Week | Day 5 – Carry the Fire 🔥

What an incredible way to close out our very first Encounter Week...

Our final day was all about living on fire for Jesus—and carrying that fire everywhere we go. We challenged the kids to remember that Encounter Week wasn't the finish line; it was the beginning of a lifetime of walking with Jesus, loving Him with all their hearts, and shining His light wherever He leads them.

The altar was once again filled with hungry hearts responding to the love of Jesus. Watching these children boldly say "yes" to Him, worship with abandon, and encounter His Presence is something we will never forget. 😭

To celebrate an amazing week, each child received an Encounter Week certificate and a gold medal for pressing in, pursuing Jesus, and giving Him their very best all week long. 🏅

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make today so special! Our ministry provided an awesome lunch, including delicious burgers generously donated by our local Wendy's. 🍔 We also want to give a special thank you to the anonymous person who sowed a seed to bless every child with Kona Ice. 🍧❤️ Your generosity brought so much joy and is a beautiful reminder of God's love and provision!

We had big plans for Water Day... but then a classic Florida thunderstorm decided otherwise. 😂 So we pivoted to a movie in the sanctuary instead because, well... Florida weather! ☔🌴

As we look back on this week, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. We witnessed children worship freely, hear the voice of God, pray for one another, receive healing, grow in His Word, and fall more deeply in love with Jesus. We truly believe these weren't just emotional moments—they were eternal ones.

Thank you to our amazing Pastors who supported the kids ministry; to every volunteer who poured out their hearts, every parent who entrusted us with their children, every person who prayed, donated, served, and supported this vision. You helped make room for encounters that will impact generations.

This may be the end of Encounter Week... but we believe it's only the beginning. ❤️🔥

Our prayer is that these children would never lose their first love, that the fire God ignited this week would never go out, and that they would become a generation that carries His Presence wherever they go!

"Never let the fire on the altar go out. It must be kept burning." — Leviticus 6:13

✨ Encounter Week | Day 4 – Walking With Jesus ✨

Thursday was one of the most powerful days of Encounter Week.

We learned that following Jesus isn't just about one encounter—it's about walking with Him every single day. Through object lessons, worship, quiet time in His Presence, activation stations, and small group discussions, the kids discovered what it means to recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd, lay down the old life, and put on the life of Christ.

From listening for His voice above every distraction... to exchanging old garments for love, freedom, forgiveness, healing, and peace... to spending personal time in prayer, worship, Scripture, and prophetic ministry, we watched these children lean into Jesus with hungry hearts.

Our prayer is that what God ignited this week won't stay at Encounter Week—that these children will continue to live every day in His Presence, hear His voice, and boldly follow wherever He leads. ❤️🔥

Encounter Week | Day 3 🌿☀️

Last Wednesday was all about discovering Jesus through His creation! We spent the day exploring the beauty of Bonnet Springs Park and learning that all of creation points to its Creator.

As we walked the trails, admired the trees, flowers, water, and wildlife, we talked about how every detail reveals God's glory and reminds us of His love. When we slow down and look around, we're reminded that Jesus is everywhere—His fingerprints are all over creation.

It was a day full of laughter, adventure, meaningful conversations, and moments of wonder as we learned to see Jesus with fresh eyes and fall even more in love with Him.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made..." — Romans 1:20 ❤️

Encounter Week | Day 2 ❤️‍🔥

Last Tuesday was a powerful day as Pastor Nikki shared the truth of who Jesus is and how we can truly know Him—not just know about Him, but know Him personally through salvation.

We gave the kids an opportunity to respond, and many came forward during our altar call to draw closer to Jesus. ❤️

After some fun games together, we broke into small groups where the kids learned what it means to recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd. They spent time listening for His voice and expressing what He was speaking through prophetic painting.

We ended the day sharing testimonies of the encounters they had with Jesus, and hearing what He had spoken to their hearts. There is nothing more beautiful than watching little ones discover that Jesus is real, He speaks, and He desires a personal relationship with each one of them.

We're so thankful for everything God did on Day 2! 🔥

We had so much fun last night in Kids A Blaze!!! To celebrate the upcoming Resurrection Sunday, kids got to do a “ little Jesus “ hunt. We learned that just as they had to be diligent and intentional to seek out the hidden Jesus’s, He desires for us to seek Him out wholeheartedly!

We learned that the greatest treasure we could ever find is Jesus, and that only through our relationship with him will come everything that we’ll ever want or need. We also learned that once we’ve “ found “ Jesus, it doesn’t stop there! As followers of Jesus, it’s now our responsibility to go out into the world and help others that don’t know him find Jesus too.

The kids were given an assignment, for each little Jesus they found they were to write out a scripture on a notecard and either give it to so somebody that they think may need it, or to leave it out somewhere random throughout the week to encourage whoever finds it. Because there’s not a single person in the world who doesn’t need a little Jesus. 😉❤️🙌
