🔥 Encounter Week | Day 5 – Carry the Fire 🔥
What an incredible way to close out our very first Encounter Week...
Our final day was all about living on fire for Jesus—and carrying that fire everywhere we go. We challenged the kids to remember that Encounter Week wasn't the finish line; it was the beginning of a lifetime of walking with Jesus, loving Him with all their hearts, and shining His light wherever He leads them.
The altar was once again filled with hungry hearts responding to the love of Jesus. Watching these children boldly say "yes" to Him, worship with abandon, and encounter His Presence is something we will never forget. 😭
To celebrate an amazing week, each child received an Encounter Week certificate and a gold medal for pressing in, pursuing Jesus, and giving Him their very best all week long. 🏅
A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make today so special! Our ministry provided an awesome lunch, including delicious burgers generously donated by our local Wendy's. 🍔 We also want to give a special thank you to the anonymous person who sowed a seed to bless every child with Kona Ice. 🍧❤️ Your generosity brought so much joy and is a beautiful reminder of God's love and provision!
We had big plans for Water Day... but then a classic Florida thunderstorm decided otherwise. 😂 So we pivoted to a movie in the sanctuary instead because, well... Florida weather! ☔🌴
As we look back on this week, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. We witnessed children worship freely, hear the voice of God, pray for one another, receive healing, grow in His Word, and fall more deeply in love with Jesus. We truly believe these weren't just emotional moments—they were eternal ones.
Thank you to our amazing Pastors who supported the kids ministry; to every volunteer who poured out their hearts, every parent who entrusted us with their children, every person who prayed, donated, served, and supported this vision. You helped make room for encounters that will impact generations.
This may be the end of Encounter Week... but we believe it's only the beginning. ❤️🔥
Our prayer is that these children would never lose their first love, that the fire God ignited this week would never go out, and that they would become a generation that carries His Presence wherever they go!
