St. Matthew's is helping with this year’s “Back to School Bash” by donating school supplies for disbursement to Hillsborough County youth. We are looking to supply backpacks with school supplies. Backpack should be filled with:

1 pack of #2 pencils; 1 pack of pens, 1 pack of colored pencils, 1 pack of highlighters, 1 pink eraser, 1 pencil sharpener, 2 glue sticks, 2 spiral notebooks, 2 composition notebooks, 1 pack of wide-ruled paper.

Please have all supplies to the church by Sunday, July 26.

Please pray for the 58th Annual Synod of the Diocese of the Eastern United States, the 6th Annual Synod of the Diocese of the West, and the 12th Provincial Synod of the Anglican Province of America, as we gather in Annapolis, Maryland from 20th-24th July 2026. The theme of this year's APA Synods is 'Recapitulation in Christ.' 'That in the dispensation of the fulness of times God might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him' (Ephesians 1.10). Our Synod image this year is taken from the American Anglo-Catholic Congress of 1927. The Catholic and Anglican Faith presses on!

Fr. Bailey will be on vacation from June 8 through 20. We will not have mid-week services or Bible study between those dates. Fr. Daniel Rieger from St. Mary the Virgin Church in Delray Beach, FL will be visiting on June 14 to celebrate the Mass at both services.
