There are billions of people in this world who have never once heard the name of Jesus. If that is ever going to change, it has to begin somewhere, and it begins with prayer.

That’s why we’re inviting you to join the Woodside Global Prayer Team.

Each month, you’ll receive simple, specific ways to pray for our missionaries and global partners serving around the world. Practical, meaningful ways for you and your family to lift up what God is already doing across the nations.

When we pray, we aren’t waiting for the work to start, we’re joining in on work God is already doing. Prayer is how we participate in something that stretches far beyond our own community and into the corners of the earth that still haven’t heard.

If you want to see the name of Jesus proclaimed among the nations, this is where it starts. Sign up today at the link below; it only takes a moment, but your prayers can make an eternal difference.

At Woodside, the Special Needs Ministry is a vital part of the Body of Christ.

When Jesus walked this earth, He was drawn to those the world pushed aside. He offered compassion, hope, and a new identity beyond every label. That same heart still beats in His Church today.

Read today's blog to discover three ways the special needs community carries out God's mission and reflects His love to all.

Jesus drew near to the marginalized, and so does His Church. Discover three ways the special needs community is essential to the global Church.

Spiritual growth doesn't happen overnight.

In Galatians 5:22–23, Paul writes: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.”

The fruit of the Spirit is the visible evidence of the Holy Spirit working within a believer’s life. Just as fruit on a tree reveals what kind of tree it is, spiritual fruit reveals spiritual growth. These characteristics are not personality traits that some people naturally have and others don’t. They are qualities produced through abiding in Christ.

Memorial Day honors those who gave their lives for our American freedoms and to protect the oppressed around the world.

As Christians, we have a unique opportunity to reflect the heart of Jesus by honoring those who served, coming alongside those who grieve, and sharing the Gospel in a country made free by their sacrifice.

Bring someone with you this Sunday.

We're starting Passing the Baton, a brand new series on how we carry the Gospel forward, one generation at a time. Whether you've been walking with Jesus for decades or you're still figuring things out, there's a place for you in this story.

Then that evening, all of Woodside will come together for our Annual Celebration Sunday at the Troy campus; food trucks, inflatables, worship, and our whole church family under one roof!

May 17. Don't miss it.

Today is the National Day of Prayer. 🙏

Across the country, believers are waking up and bringing their voices to God, and we want our church family right there with them.

Before the day gets away from you, pause. Pray for your family. Your neighbors. Our church. The nations. And the Christians around the world carrying the Gospel into places that desperately need Jesus.

Prayer is how we worship. It's how we grow. It's how we seek His face together.

Ready to go deeper? We've put together prayer resources to help guide your time with God today. Head to woodsidebible.org/read/?filter=prayer to explore them now. 💚
