Bridging Solutions and Purpose to Life w/ Pastor Don Rhône
Faith Without Works Is Dead.
Faith is motion active. Nothing moves God’s hand but faith. What He does isn’t always done the way you expect Him to do it, nevertheless He does it.
Faith without action is not faith at all. If you don’t act on what you say you believe than there is no real faith. If you have faith in God you will trust His sovereignty and love. Doing something in fear or because of threats, dictations, or worldly mandates, is not faith. Seeking God’s resolute and trusting and acting on what you hear from Him is faith. “What ever you do, do it in faith.”
(Dan. 3:8-30 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and the fiery furnace / Dan 6:10-28 Daniel in the Lion’s den.
Just saying you have faith is not going to work for you. Live or die trusting God to do what He promise and tomorrow is not promised. When our fear of dying becomes greater than trusting God there is little faith involved.
The Bible is the fact checker... Check the facts with The Truth, God’s Truth. Truth alway trumps facts when they are opposing.
There is no such thing as blind faith, because God has proven who He is and will do what He promised. He has proven it with His love for us.
Courage is standing up and doing what is right in the face of opposition and danger.
God his not give us the spirit of fear, we learned fear because of sin.
What are you going to believe? Who are you going to believe? How are you going to believe? No matter what, how, or who you believe, that is your faith. If you believe or feel in your heart that God told you to do something, then that is your faith.
I put my faith in Jesus, and I’m anchored to solid ground.
I’m going to believe the report of the Lord, because He is faithful.
