Moms, join us this summer for fun, connection, and community with your little ones!

Whether you attend Anchor Community Church, another church, or are simply looking to meet other moms, weโ€™d love to have you. Come build friendships, encourage one another, and let the kids play together.

Weโ€™re working on a Church Center sign-up and hope to launch a Facebook group soon. For now, just come as you are! Weโ€™ll share updates at the play dates and help everyone stay connected.

Looking ahead to the fall, weโ€™re excited to continue growing this ministry and creating more opportunities for moms and families to connect. Weโ€™re also seeking a few volunteers to help with childcare. If youโ€™re interested, please reach out to Alyssa Fleet.

This book club is designed to be flexible! We know summer schedules can get busy, so there is no pressure to attend every meeting. Weโ€™ll all be reading the same book throughout the summer, and whenever youโ€™re able to join us, weโ€™d love to have you come discuss what youโ€™ve read and connect with other women.

This summer weโ€™ll be reading Messy Beautiful Friendship by Christine Hoover.

In this encouraging book, Christine explores the joys, challenges, and realities of biblical friendship. Through personal stories and biblical truth, she reminds us that meaningful friendships arenโ€™t perfectโ€”theyโ€™re often messy, but they can also be beautiful and life-giving when centered on Christ.

Get ready for an epic evening of food, fuel, and fun! We are gathering all students (ages 12โ€“17) for a Sunday Night Snackdown, a high-energy event designed for hanging out and making memories.

Whether youโ€™re here for the competition or just the snacks, thereโ€™s a spot for you. Here is whatโ€™s on the menu:

๐Ÿ” The Feast: Weโ€™re bringing out a spread of crowd favorites. Come hungry, because weโ€™ve got enough food to power you through the night.

Last Sunday, Pastor Scott Crosby preached from Matthew 17 and reminded us that when human beings come in contact with something greater than themselves, they tremble. The deepest fear is standing before our Creator as sinful and broken people. Yet Jesus sees every failure, every motive, and every part of our hearts โ€” and still comes near with grace. Just like Peter, James, and John, we may fall short, but Jesus says, โ€œDo not be afraid. Arise.โ€ โœจ

In Anchor Kids, the kids learned about Jesus healing and forgiving in Mark 1. They also learned that Jesus sees our brokenness and cares for us completely. They watched the lesson, talked about Godโ€™s love, and made crosses out of bandaids to remind them that Jesus heals and restores. โœจ

So thankful for another Sunday growing together in His presence.

Anchor Kids Ministry Meeting โœจ

Sunday, May 31 right after service weโ€™ll be having a brief Anchor Kids meeting. All current volunteers are asked to attend, and anyone interested in serving in Kids Ministry is welcome to come as well.

Weโ€™ll go over updates, needs, and how you can get involved in making an impact in the next generation. If youโ€™ve been thinking about serving, this is a great place to start!

Our new Life Groups start this week! Weโ€™ll be meeting every other week on Tuesdays OR Thursdays to dive into the Book of Jude.

Using Eric Geigerโ€™s study, Contending for the Faith, we will explore what it means to stand firm in our convictions and live out our faith in a challenging world. Itโ€™s a great opportunity to connect with others and build a life rooted in Christโ€™s love. ๐Ÿค
