The 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time is celebrated on October 4 and invites us to reflect on God's immense care for His vineyard and our calling to bear good fruit. God's Generosity: God gives us life, faith, and His Church as a fertile vineyard. He equips us with everything we need to succeed. The Call to Bear Fruit: God expects acts of love, justice, and peace in return—not the "wild grapes" of selfishness or division.

Stewardship vs. Ownership: Like the tenants, we sometimes act as owners of our lives rather than caretakers, resisting God's authority or ignoring His messengers.

Peace Through Prayer: St. Paul reminds us that when we feel overwhelmed by our responsibilities or the state of the world, turning to prayer fills our hearts with Christ’s peace.

The 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time is celebrated on September 27 and invites us to examine the alignment between our faith and our daily actions, particularly regarding our awareness of and care for the vulnerable around us.

The Mass readings for the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time focus on true obedience, repentance, and the example of Christ's humility.

First Reading: Ezekiel 18:25–28 God answers the complaint that His way is unfair. the Lord explains that when a wicked person turns away from wickedness and does what is right, they will save their life.

Second Reading: Philippians 2:1–11, Paul urges believers to be united in love and to have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. This passage features the famous early Christian hymn about Christ humbling Himself, taking the form of a servant, and being obedient to the point of death on a cross.

Gospel: Matthew 21:28–32 Jesus tells the parable of the two sons. One says he will not work in the vineyard but goes, while the other says he will go but does not.
