How do I have a happy family?

Having the Holy Spirit with you will bring peace, a feeling of comfort, and a better understanding of God and what He would have us do. The Holy Spirit will bring light into your life and into that of your family. As you do things that invite the Holy Spirit, your family will be strengthened.

"If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." (Articles of Faith 13)

A home established on principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be a place of refuge and safety because it will be a place where the Holy Spirit can abide.

Would you like to know how you can always have the Spirit to be with you?

❤💚❤CHRISTMAS TIME❤💚❤

It's the happiest time of year as we remember the birth of the Savior to the world, Jesus Christ!

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace"
- Isaiah 9:6

At baptism we promise to bear one another's burdens that they may be light. During a time of trouble, this couple's testimony of Christ was strengthened by the Christlike service their community brought to them.

Why should we show love to others?

Matthew 5:44
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"

As we show our love towards those who have wronged us, we will be filled with peace and happiness! We will be able to bless the lives of others with the love that Jesus Christ has shown to us!

How have you felt the love of the Savior in your life?

What Christmas traditions do you have?

Jesus Christ was sent to conquer death by the power of his resurrection and by his infinite sacrifice (His Atonement) we have the opportunity to overcome sin.

"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord"
- Luke 2:10-11

"On the seventh day thou shalt rest" (Exodus 23:12).

Why would the Lord ask us to rest from our labors on the Sabbath?

Jesus Christ says,
"That thou mayest more fully keep thyself unspotted from the world... this is a day appointed unto you to rest from your labors, and to pay thy devotions unto the Most High" (Doctrine & Covenants 59:9-10).

Sundays are a day to reflect on everything God has given us and spend time with our families. It is a day to let go of the things of the world and more fully focus on Heavenly Father and how we can serve Him. In return, God promises to bless us with joy, peace, and spiritual refreshment to remember our Savior throughout the week.

What is something you can do to show your love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ this Sunday?

Have you recognized the blessings in your life lately? 🤔

The Book of Mormon teaches how we should always show gratitude for what we have. A verse in the book of Alma explains this perfectly.

Alma 7:23
"And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive."

If we remember to give thanks to the Lord for everything, including our trials, we will be able to see the blessings that come from having faith in Christ.

How can you show your thanks to God this week? 😃
