✝️ When Grace Threatens Everything You Know

Saul had a way of seeing the world. He knew what he believed, what he stood for, and who he thought was right and wrong.

Then he encountered Jesus.

Grace challenged Saul’s mentality and everything he thought he knew. The man who had been determined to destroy the followers of Jesus was suddenly being confronted by the very Christ he opposed.

Saul had to surrender his old way of thinking before he could step into the new life Jesus had for him.

📖 “Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.’” — Acts 9:17 NIV

Grace doesn’t always confirm what we already believe. Sometimes grace confronts us, changes us, and calls us to see everything differently.

✝️ When Jesus Changes Your Direction

Acts 9:1–22 tells the powerful story of Saul’s encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. Saul was determined to continue persecuting followers of Jesus—but one encounter with Christ changed the direction of his life.

He went from persecutor to follower, from Saul to Paul, and from opposing the gospel to proclaiming Jesus.

Sometimes we think our past defines us. But Saul’s story reminds us that Jesus can meet us where we are and completely change where we’re going. 🙏

📖 “At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.” — Acts 9:20 NIV

No one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. ❤️

⏳ A New One-Week Sermon: Damascus Road

This week, we’re looking at Saul and the path that changed his life.

📖 Acts 8:1–3 | Acts 9:1–2 | Acts 26:1–11

Before Saul encountered Jesus, he was certain he was doing the right thing. But God had a completely different direction for his life.

What happens when God changes your direction?

Join us this Sunday as we take a closer look at Saul’s journey to Damascus and what it teaches us about God’s ability to change a life.

🙏 God’s Timing Is Not Always Our Timing

We often pray for something and hope God will answer right now. But sometimes God’s answer requires patience. He may not give us what we want when we want it—but that doesn’t mean He isn’t working.

Philippians 4:13 isn’t a promise that we will get everything we ask for. It reminds us that through Christ, we can have strength in whatever season we are in—whether we are waiting, struggling, celebrating, or learning to trust God’s plan.

📖 “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” — Philippians 4:13 NIV

God sees what we cannot see. His timing may be different from ours, but we can trust Him while we wait. ❤️
