God bless the brave who gave everything so we might live in freedom.

"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;" — Psalm 91:11

On a hot June morning, a young medic named Elena crawled through the dust to reach a wounded soldier. Despite the chaos, she paused long enough to hum a simple hymn and press a makeshift bandage to his wound. Days later, the soldier wrote that the memory of her calm voice and steady hands kept him going through recovery. Years after the war, he returned to his hometown to help build a memorial bench with a small plaque honoring Elena and the medics whose quiet courage saved lives. Passersby who sat there found themselves reflecting on the ordinary, unseen acts of love that sustain a nation.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the men and women who served and sacrificed for our country. Comfort the families who grieve and strengthen those who carry memories of loss. Help us honor the fallen not only with words, but by serving others with the same courage and compassion. Grant peace to those who mourn and wisdom to the living so that freedom endures. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God’s already at work — He’s invited you in. They didn’t decide to go; they fasted and prayed until God made it clear. Fasting isn’t just about skipping meals — it’s giving up distractions so you can hear Him.
Fast from what steals your attention (social media, constant news, binge-watching, games).
Pray with purpose — not to force an answer, but to wait for God’s timing.
Listen for His direction, then step out when He calls.
You’re equipped to join God’s work — make it about Him, not your likes or spotlight.

Monday Motivation
"Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22-23

Monday is a reminder that God is a God of new beginnings. No matter what last week held—the victories, the mistakes, the worries, or the weariness—His mercy is new today.
You don’t have to carry yesterday into this new week. God’s grace goes before you, His strength walks beside you, and His faithfulness will carry you through whatever lies ahead. Step into this week with hope, knowing the Lord is already at work.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for new mercies and a fresh start today. Help us to leave our worries in Your hands and walk confidently in Your promises. Fill our hearts with peace, joy, and renewed strength for the week ahead. May our lives reflect Your goodness in all we do.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalm 139
1 You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

I laughed when I read these verses today. They are so perfect 😊 I woke at 2am my mind running wild with grocery lists and vbs tasks, staining decks, and dinner too. Too many tasks for 1 day or probably even 2. At 5am Matt reminds me to shower [Before!] the baby wakes up 😂. This helps me to slow down and realize my priorities and brain are all over. It is so so easy to take our eyes off of what really matters. For all of you spaz-tastic folks still reading this, dont forget that Jesus paid it all, and we will accomplish so much more in every way! When we put Him first.

Each new day is a gift from the Lord. Its not just Tuesday. Its another day to tell someone about Jesus. Its another day to teach your children who Jesus is to you. Its another day to thank Jesus for. If you are here, its because God is not finished with you.
"Hey, I'm just an old chunk of coal
But I'm gonna be a diamond some day
I'm gonna kneel and pray every day
At least I should become vain along the way
I'm just an old chunk of coal now Lord
But I'm gonna be a diamond some day
I'm gonna learn the best way to walk
I'm gonna search and find a better way to talk
I'm gonna spit and polish my old rough edged self
'Til I get rid of every single flaw
I'm gonna be a diamond someday"

Monday Motivation
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Book of Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

A new week brings new responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities. Sometimes we try to carry it all alone, planning every detail and worrying about every outcome. But God never asked us to figure everything out by ourselves. When we place our work, our families, our goals, and even our worries into His hands, He brings direction, peace, and purpose to our steps.
You do not have to start this Monday with fear — start it with faith.

Lord,
Thank You for the gift of a new week. Help us walk into this Monday with confidence, peace, and trust in You. Guide our decisions, strengthen us when we grow tired, and remind us that You are already ahead of us in every moment. May our words and actions reflect Your love today, and may everything we do bring glory to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” — Philippians 4:13

As a new week begins, we’re reminded that our strength doesn’t come from ourselves—it comes from the Lord. Whatever is ahead this week—challenges, responsibilities, or unknowns—you don’t have to face it alone.
God has already equipped you with what you need. Lean on Him, trust His plan, and walk forward in faith. This is a new opportunity to live with purpose, serve others, and reflect His love in everything you do.

Lord,
Thank You for the gift of a new week. Fill us with Your strength and guide our steps in all we do. Help us to trust You fully, even when things feel uncertain. Use us to be a light to others and to bring encouragement wherever we go.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Do everything in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14

In a world that often feels rushed and divided, this simple command still stands firm—do everything in love. Not just when it’s easy, but especially when it’s not. Love is how we reflect Christ to others. It’s seen in our patience, our kindness, and the grace we extend even when it’s undeserved.
Today is an opportunity for the Church to be known not just by what we say, but by how we love.

Heavenly Father,
Teach us to walk in love in every moment. Help our church to be a place where Your love is felt deeply and shared freely. Guide our words and actions so they reflect Your heart. May we be a light in our community, showing kindness, compassion, and truth.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
