Riverside United Methodist Church

Riverside United Methodist Church Pastor Dave Haase - Riverside U.M.C. Blog
We welcome all who view our ministry online. We have a lot of mission we support outside our church.

If you wish to help us with the cost of ministry, send it to the address below. We believe that we are all theologians. God calls us to clarify and communicate our faith--to put our beliefs into words--for ourselves and for others. We do this using four sources or guidelines recommended to us by John Wesley:
1. Scripture--inspired by the Holy Spirit when it was written and when it is read; we are

also aided by the research of biblical scholarship.
2. The church's tradition--the ever-renewed understandings of the faith community down through the ages.
3. Christian experience--the church's and our personal experience of God's healing love, the gift of new life in Christ.
4. Our reason--our capacity to analyze, compare, and come to sound judgments. "These four sources--each making distinctive contributions, yet all finally working together--guide our quest as United Methodist for a vital and appropriate Christians witness" We are invited--and called--to use these guidelines in making decisions in our lives in the world.

Jesus is in the heart of every human, and where he see's good; Satan see's a prize and temptation is his tool. The scars on Jesus' hands are for our salvation, all that was asked is that we simply love God our Father and one another. I go to church to pay homage to my Father God and my Lord Jesus, for it is his heart that beats with Love for my family and friends and neighbors. Peace comes from knowing that a time will come and I will get home and rest for eternally with my Creator. I truly pray that anyone I've hurt in this life forgives me. For I have forgiven all the pains, sorrows, and hurts committed to me! Filling space in the sanctuary does give me peace and yes God is in my heart! May peace be with all that read this. Amen!
