Since 1888, Olivewood Memorial Park has had the honor and privilege to serve thousands of families. The History runs deep and the stories of the lives of those entrusted in to our care are cherished.
Along with the founding Mothers and Fathers of Riverside and the surrounding communities and the generations from then, we also have in our care many American Heroes, who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country bravely, in the United States Armed Forces.
We are deeply grateful for the freedoms we have been granted due to their commitment and service.

In Recognition of this Sacred Day, the Office at Olivewood Memorial Park will be open to help families who might need a new vase or a vase cleared & we will also have flags available for placement at a Loved One's grave.
We will be open Saturday May 23, 2026 from 9:00AM-1:00PM & Sunday May 24, 2026 from 8:00AM-4:30PM & Monday May 25, 2026 from 8:00AM-4:30PM.

Please be advised that the Memorial Day Decoration period on the NEW/NORTH SIDE starts Thursday May 21, 2026 and you'll want to remove your decorations by Tuesday June 2, 2026 because we will resume normal clean-up on Wednesday June 3, 2026.

For the OLD/SOUTH SIDE, the Memorial Day Decoration period begins Friday May 22 ,2026 and you'll want to remove your decorations by Wednesday June 3, 2026 because we will resume normal clean-up Thursday June 4, 2026.

I am grateful to be able to serve families that stand in need and I wish you Peace & Wellness in the days to come.

Randy

The Mission Inn Museum is doing a tour of our beautiful grounds this Saturday morning. You will have the opportunity to visit the gravesites of some of Riverside's earliest residents while the tour guide shares stories of their lives and the contributions they made to the city we live in today. You will have a chance to go inside the 1930 Jekel Mausoleum Chapel and also learn the history of our only family mausoleum, the Dyer Vault. Tour begins at 10:00 am Saturday and tickets are only $20. All proceeds go to the Mission Inn Foundation.

Here at Olivewood Memorial Park, we recognize that the days leading up to and around Valentine's Day can be difficult to endure with all the memories we have of those we love but are no longer with us.
We are now offering "Keeper QR Codes," a way to create a lasting tribute to those that we have lost that can be easily accessible by way of a QR Code that is affixed to the individuals memorial marker.
Through this link, one can add or edit information, upload photos, share memories, post thoughts & contribute memories so that the stories can continue to be shared with friends & family. The cost of the QR Code plaque is $70.00 plus tax and you have your choice of 3 different designs.
Online memorials bring families together - near and far - to celebrate, remember and heal.

Give us a call to inquire further or stop by the office and we'd be happy to tell you more.

As always, we are honored to serve this great community.

Sincerely,
Randy

Christmas Holiday Decoration Schedule:
Decorations may be placed beginning on:
New/Northside: Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025
Old/Southside: Friday, Dec. 19, 2025
The decoration period lasts for 3 weeks. Please pick up any decorations you wish to keep prior to the following scheduled removal day. Any decorations not picked up BEFORE the regular removal day will be irretrievable once they have been placed on the truck for disposal.
Regular removal schedule RESUMES on:
New/Northside: Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026
Old/Southside: Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026
Please do not drive pointed stakes into the ground as they can puncture sprinkler lines and cause flooding of surrounding gravesites. Please keep trees to a maximum 3 feet in height, larger trees tend to blow over in the wind. I also do not recommend placing expensive or sentimental items on gravesites, please keep them at home with you. What we do recommend is calling the office a few days ahead of time if you would like us to clear your vases prior to your visit. Regular weekly removal schedule is in effect until above holiday decoration schedule begins. Gates are open 7 days a week from 8 - 5.
Blessings,
Olivewood Staff

Hi Again,

One of the things we pride our selves on here at Olivewood, is doing our best to keep prices reasonable and have a price-point that is able to meet the economic needs of most families.

Just an FYI, we have started to receive notifications from a number of the vendors that we rely upon for the miscellaneous items that families need such as Grave Markers for those in our care, that our costs will be increasing beginning Jan. 2026.

If you are in need of a marker for a loved one, please give us a call at 951-683-6611, to schedule a time to come in prior to the end of the year so that we can still offer the 2024-2025 pricing.

Also, if the idea of planning for the future, has been on your mind and you would like to see the many different options that we offer, please give us a call to set a time that is convenient to take a tour. There is no pressure here at Olivewood..... Marla and I are the Counselors here and we are both here to help you and provide options from A to Z, you tell us what you are interested in, we show you the options and you choose what works best for you.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you.

Randy
