On the heels of a truly blessed Sunday of music this past weekend I (Pastor Matt) am thrilled to announce our Summer/Fall Gospel texts will be in the Gospel of Matthew! (How appropriate for us!) We begin this several month series beginning in Chapter 9 of Matthew. So, I invite you to pick up your Bibles and begin reading ahead and even journaling about what you read and what God is showing you.

CHALLENGE:
This week we begin with Matthew 9:9-13. Drop a comment here on what God is showing you this week about this passage before this Sunday.

Happy Pentecost Sunday 2026 from St. Matthew's! We're so blessed to have celebrated the giving of The Holy Spirit together today! This photo was taken by one of our guests today - Robert. Robert told me (Pastor Matt) "I travel around all over the U.S. and I am so glad I stopped in today. Of all the churches I've visited this one is the best. I definitely felt the presence of our Lord today." Thanks, Robert, for joining today and thanks church for living into the Spirit-filled life as His ambassadors!

Hello St. Matthew's Family and Friends! Just a few announcements here for you this week.

1) Consistory Meeting Feb. 11 at 6 pm.
2) Third Sunday POTLUCK is MOVED to Feb. 22 as that Sunday, we'll be hearing from a guest missionary in our 9 AM hour and want to share a meal with our guest missionary. Don't bring food this Sunday the 15th.
3) Ash Wednesday Service is Feb. 18 at 6:30 PM,
4) Mid-Week Bible Studies over Lent begin Feb. 25th at 6:45 PM using the "A Consuming Fire" devotional book as a guide. This will be led by Pastor Matt.
