Giving thanks for The Rev. Roberto Limatú who officiated a beautiful baptism ceremony in Spanish for five individuals at St. Michael's this week. Two people were scheduled and three more felt the Holy Spirit calling them to join. It was a glorious gathering!

Giving thanks for a visit to St. Michael’s Riverside from The Rev Roberto Limatú, vicar at Iglesia Episcopal Immanuel in El Monte. He is a wonderful friend and a much loved priest who has encouraged my ministry in so many ways, especially in speaking Spanish. He will come again in January to officiate Holy Eucharist in Spanish while I am traveling for my work as staff member for Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe. Muchas gracias, amigo.

He loved the Episcopal Church too much to let it settle for being what it was; continually calling it to be the best it could be.
