Catherine of Alexandria, and a like number of family pets, came to the church steps today for the 13th annual Blessing of the Animals, led by Deacon John. Amid the chaos, there were songs, readings and - as you might imagine - some barking.

The 15th annual Blessing of the Animals is
coming, Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 9 a.m. to
10 a.m. on the front steps of St. Catherine of
Alexandria’s church. Bring your ‘darlings’
and we will celebrate ‘in the Spirit of St.
Francis’ this joyful (and sometimes chaotic)
tradition of the church. All are welcome to
attend and receive a blessing (even your pet snake, Reggie!).
