Join us tonight for the Great Vigil - the blessing of the first fire and lighting of the paschal candle. We walk together from darkness into light as we follow our history and proclaim the resurrection of Jesus - the first Easter celebration.

Join us for Holy Week at St. George’s, beginning on Palm Sunday at 9 am. We will be so glad to walk together with you. Our other services are Maundy Thursday at 5:30 pm; Good Friday at 6:30 pm; and Easter Vigil at 6:30 pm.

Call us again, loving God. Say our names. Hand us the baskets of bread and fish. Help us see ourselves as you see us so we know that together the impossible is possible. Until your promised day when all are fed, all are healed, and hunger is no more, we will continue to pray. Amen. . Join us this Sunday at 9 am in celebration of hope.

If God lived next door . . . I’d start a community garden / so that the kids could run between rows of squash and tomatoes / while we adults put our hands in the dirt./ We’d share stories while we weeded, / and eat harvest meals at the end of the season. / If God lived next door, / I’d want to build something beautiful. / Then again, / who says she doesn’t?

Today we began to grow our Lenten tree as an expression of our hearts and lives rooted in the expansive goodness of God. We also filled bags of food and personal products to be distributed by the City of Riverside’s Justice Outreach team. We are so thankful for Diane and the team and the work they do.
