We talked to UCSF epidemiologist George Rutherford, MD, and infectious disease specialist Peter Chin-Hong, MD, about the CDC’s reversal on mask-wearing, the current science on how masks work, and what to consider when choosing a mask.

SAFE WORSHIP INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Facial mask/covering both mouth and nose MUST be worn at all times for anyone entering the building over the age of 2
2) Please enter/exit the building in stages; allowing anyone outside of your household to clear the path before following
3) Please wash your hands with soap and water upon entry
3a) Please use hand sanitizer or wash after touching face
4) Maintain social distancing BOTH inside & outside of the building, including seating
4a) Please following seating signage directions
4b) Please sit WITH members of your immediate household
4c) Keep your children WITH you
5) ABSOLUTELY NO handshaking, hand holding, hugging, patting, elbow rubbing, fist bumps, or any other contact with those outside of your immediate household
5) Please limit restroom attendance to one party at a time
6) Please do not pass or share items, ie. pens, bibles, fans
7) Business attire is acceptable. Women pants are discouraged
8) Most importantly, COME TO WORSHIP

*Electronic giving instructions will be provided
*For all those with underlying health conditions, compromised immune systems, respiratory complications that is exacerbated by wearing a mask for extended periods, or experiencing any illness symptoms PLEASE use wisdom and best practices for keeping yourself and those around you SAFE
