Pulse was more than a nightclub. It was a place of joy, belonging, community, and refuge. We honor those whose lives were taken 10 years ago on June 12, 2016, and we hold close the survivors, loved ones, and LGBTQIA+ communities forever changed by that night.

May their memory continue to call us toward a world where every person can live openly, safely, and fully as themselves.

🚨 Urgent: Help the Salha Family Reach Safety

Our Social & Environmental Justice Committee has received devastating news from the Salha family in Gaza. There has been bombing near the camp where they have been sheltering. They need funds now to evacuate and survive.

We have a direct, trusted relationship with this family. Every dollar we raise goes straight to them for food, water, medical supplies, and safe passage.

If you're new to Quakers, take a look at some of the many public statements that Friends have made in support of LGBTQ+ folks. Support for LGBTQ+ rights varies depending on the group, and it can show up in different ways. Many Quaker groups have made statements affirming the right to live and love. Philadelphia Yearly Meeting has a Statement of Support for the LGBTQIA+ Community. Fifteenth Street Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends - Quakers and FGC both have signed public statements of support for Trans People. Memphis Meeting, Ohio Valley Yearly Meeting, North Columbus Meeting -- The list goes on!

THIS PRIDE, DON'T GET FCC'D OVER. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is targeting LGBTQ stories. They are trying to control what you see on television. This government overreach is dangerous to the existence of an independent and free media.

The public had until May 22 to submit comments, and now has until June 22 to file reply comments, telling the FCC that LGBTQ characters and stories on television do not harm anyone.

Here’s what we can do NOW:
