As a new school year begins, we invite everyone to join us for a special Back to School Sunday at International Bible Baptist Church, Riverside!

This Sunday, we will take time to recognize and pray for our students and all those who faithfully serve in education—our teachers, school staff, administrators, aides, counselors, and other education professionals.

We are grateful for your dedication and the important role you have in teaching, guiding, encouraging, and caring for the next generation.

From the Pastor’s Heart:

🇨🇦 Summer Missions Update | 8 Weeks in Canada

We praise and thank the Lord for His faithfulness throughout these past 8 weeks of ministry in Canada. What began as a burden to strengthen and encourage believers has become another testimony that God is still building His church.

During this mission trip, the Lord allowed us to:
• Conduct regular Home Bible Studies
• Worship together in our new MIBBC Toronto Mission meeting place
• Celebrate Philippine Independence Sunday
• Honor fathers during Father’s Day
• Minister and fellowship with families at IGWC Canada Family Camp
• Preach God’s Word, encourage believers, and share the Gospel with those around us

Every message preached, every visit made, every prayer offered, and every soul reached is a reminder that the Great Commission is still our mission.

We return home with grateful hearts, encouraged by what God is doing in Canada and excited for what He will continue to accomplish through the ministries in Calgary and Toronto. Please continue to pray that the Lord would strengthen these mission works, save souls, disciple believers, and raise up faithful laborers for His harvest.

🇨🇦 Summer Missions Update | MIBBCR – Toronto Mission 🇨🇦

We praise and thank the Lord for what He has done during this year’s Summer Missions Trip in Toronto, Ontario, Canada through Ptr. Sergio Juan Nolasco and Mrs.Marjorie Gigi Nolasco.

Over the past month, God has continued to open doors for the ministry. We rejoice to see His faithfulness as the mission has grown through:

🏡 Regular Home Bible Studies
🇵🇭 A Special Worship Service celebrating Philippine Independence Day
👔 A meaningful Father’s Day Service honoring godly fathers
🏕️ Fellowship and spiritual growth during the IGWC Canada Family Church Camp
🙏 And many opportunities to share the Gospel and strengthen believers.

We also rejoice that God has provided a permanent venue for the mission.

“I praise and thank God for this 3-month old Mission work in Toronto, Ontario Canada! Yesterday, 6/7/26 we dedicated our new venue for our Worship Services at ICCC (Igorot Canadian Community Center). Praying that MIBBC will continue to be a witness of the Gospel of Christ to the Filipino Community and other Nationalities.”

Please continue to pray for MIBBCR – Toronto Mission as it reaches families, disciples believers, and proclaims the Gospel throughout Toronto. May God continue to bless this young church, provide faithful laborers, and use it as a lighthouse to the Filipino community and people of every nation.

With grateful hearts, we praise God for bringing Pr. PhiLip NoLasco home safely from his deployment.

Thank you for faithfully serving both your country and your Savior. As an Airman, you have carried out your responsibilities with honor, discipline, and integrity. As a servant of Christ, you have continued to be an ambassador for the Lord wherever He has placed you. Your life reminds us that we can faithfully serve God in every calling He gives us.

We are thankful for your sacrifice, your commitment, and your testimony. We know that time away from family, church, and home is never easy, but God has been faithful to sustain and protect you.

Welcome home! Your IBBCR family is overjoyed to have you back with us. We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen you, bless you and your family, and use you mightily for His glory in the days ahead.

Sending Off Bro. Joezer Nolasco

Today, our church family pauses to thank God for the life and faithful service of Bro.Joezer Acob Nolasco.

Through the years, he has faithfully served in many areas of our ministry. From leading and strengthening our Media Team, to helping design and decorate countless church events, and investing his time in the discipleship of our young people, his willingness to serve has been a blessing to IBBCR. Much of what he has done happened behind the scenes, but God has seen every act of faithfulness.

As Bro. Joezer begins a new chapter in Seattle to pursue God’s calling by completing his Doctorate in Psychology, we rejoice with him and commit to praying for him. We pray that the Lord will grant him wisdom, strength, protection, and favor in every class, every opportunity, and every step of this journey. May his education become another tool that God uses for His glory and for the service of others.

Thank you, Bro. Joezer, for your faithful heart, your servant’s spirit, and your love for Christ and His church. While Seattle gains a student, we know God’s Kingdom is sending a servant.
