Good morning, family, and Shalom.

Mark 8:27-29 reads, "Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of Caesarea Philippi; and on the road, He asked His disciples, saying to them, 'Who do men say that I am?' So they answered, 'John the Baptist,' but some say, 'Elijah,' and others, 'one of the prophets.' He said to them, 'But who do you say that I am?' Peter answered and said to Him, 'You are the Christ.'

In Scripture, our Lord Jesus Christ is our 'Anointed One,' the one true Christ and Messiah.

Question: If Jesus is our Savior or King, what does that mean to you?

When you have a chance, find a quiet place today and ask yourself this question.

To me, He is my rescuer; He is patient and loving to me. Jesus Christ is my peace and comfort. His mercies are new every morning.

Lord, You are my Savior and my friend. Without You, I am nothing. May You always be the center of my life! Amen.

Love you all.

Good morning family and friends…

This one was taken from my online devotional...truly a blessing to read...hope you enjoy it.

It's long one, be patient...

Scripture reads in...

1 Samuel 20:11-17
Honor One Another

"The love in your heart should not allow you to treat anyone like they are less."

******************************
"True Friendship"

Jonathan and David had a friendship that was bonded in love. They didn't just see each other as friends, they treated each other as if they were brothers. They were so close with each other the Bible records that they "knit with the soul" which means that they were in one accord. They loved each other like brothers.

When Jonathan died, David could have chosen to overlook the promise that he made. The promise was made between the two of them – no one else knew about it. But the love and appreciation that David had for his friendship with Jonathan would not allow him to forsake that promise.

This friendship continued until Jonathan's tragic death. David was so moved by Jonathan's death, he pledged to take care of anyone who was part of Jonathan's family. When David discovered that Jonathan had a son who was born with a disability, he took him in and treated him like royalty. He remained loyal to the promise that he made. He did not treat Jonathan's son as a lesser person. He made sure that he was as comfortable as possible.

This is the kind of example that we should follow as well, as Christians. When we come across people with disabilities we should treat them with respect. Just because they have a disability, it does not mean that we should treat them like they are not humans. They are people too – with thoughts, feelings, dreams, hopes, and ambitions. They are just like you, except for the disability they have.

In David's time, people with disabilities were treated like non-factors. They were often left to be beggars. The love in David's heart would not allow him to do this. The love in your heart should not allow you to treat anyone like they are less.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, help to be mindful of others and to keep my word like King David promised and lived...
– even if other people are not aware of it. For I know, that is another form of love that we are to express as a living testimony for You...Amen.

Love ❤️ you all...

Good morning family and friends…

God promises in His Word that He will protect Israel, the apple of His eye...

Deuteronomy 33:29
"Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights."

And as God's adopted children...

We are and delivered by the Lord...

We are shielded by Him; God is our helper and He alone is our Sword! 🗡️ Amen and Amen!!

Love you all...

Good morning family and friends…

1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) reads...
"Casting all your care (your anxiety, your worries, your fears) upon him; for He (Jesus Christ) cares for you."

Jesus said we were not designed to "carry" our cares of this world...but we were designed to "cast" our cares upon Him...

But Jesus said...we are to cast our cares upon Him (the Shepherd)...this means to "throw"-{cast} every care, every worry, doubt, fear, depression and every pain on Jesus Christ...

We are simply the sheep; Jesus is our one Shepherd...we are called to follow and to listen to the Shepherd; our Shepherd-Jesus Christ...Amen!!!

Love ❤️ you all...✝️🙏

Good morning family...

1 Peter 2:4-5 reads:
"Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
--------------------------------

In today’s verse, Peter describes believers as living stones, built together into a spiritual house. This imagery might seem unusual, but it tells us two important truths...

First, as building stones, we are each set in alignment with the cornerstone, Jesus....

And second, we are God’s temple, His dwelling place and the embodiment of worship in the world.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for making me a part of Your church. Thank You for making Jesus my cornerstone. Please work in me so that my heart and my life may be continually aligned to him. And set me in the place that You choose so that I may support my brothers and sisters in Christ and carry out Your purpose in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Love ❤️you all
