We come together in worship with hearts full of gratitude for God's grace and faithfulness. The Church must never be ambivalent; we are expected to live with our hearts totally committed to God, displaying His glory and love in everything we do. By means of the discourse on "The Error of the Laodicean Church" (Revelation 3:14–20), Brother Shaquille Lightbourne urged us to take stock of our hearts and renew our enthusiasm for the Lord's cause.
Our worship was a beautiful expression of this devotion — from the Song of Praise by Sister Revelyn Wilson, the Scripture Reading by Sister Emily Carlson, to the Opening Prayer by Sister Marylou Braga. Each moment encouraged us to stay steadfast in faith, genuine in service, and fully surrendered to God’s calling.
The brethren's ties as a church family were strengthened as they got together for a happy lunch fellowship following the service. They then moved forward as a team for evangelism, reaching out to the community and sharing God's love. A Church on fire for Christ is reflected in the Riverside, California, locals' back-to-back endeavor.
We must never forget that the world today is in dire need of the beauty of God's message. The message of Jesus Christ is the ultimate love story; it is enduring, transformative, and powerful. In order to allow His light to shine through the Church, may we accept it, live it, and spread it to everyone.
