October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we are so thankful for the men God has called to lead, teach, encourage, and care for our church family.

Pastor Marty and Pastor Rick, thank you for the countless ways you faithfully serve, both in the things we see and in the many things we don’t.

Thank you for preaching the Word with truth and conviction. For praying with us and for us. For celebrating the joyful moments, walking alongside us through the difficult ones, and continually pointing us back to Jesus.

Ministry is so much more than what happens on a Sunday morning, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, prayer, sacrifice, and heart you pour into our church family throughout the year.

We love and appreciate you both, Pastor Marty and Pastor Rick! Thank you for answering God’s call and faithfully serving His people.

Men, it’s not too late to pull up a chair.

Our Letters of John Bible Study meets again tonight at 6:30 PM, and even though we’re a little over halfway through the study, there is still plenty of room for you to join us.

Maybe you meant to come weeks ago and never made it. Maybe life got busy. Maybe you have a study book sitting at home with a few more blank pages than you’d like to admit.

Come anyway.

You don’t need to be caught up. You don’t need to have every question answered or every bit of homework completed. Just bring your Bible and come ready to spend time in God’s Word alongside other men who are learning and growing too.

Don’t let being “behind” keep you from coming tonight. Start right where you are.

Come dig into the Word, spend time with other men, and keep growing in your walk with Christ. We’d love to have you there.

Men, tomorrow morning is for more than breakfast.

Before the weekend gets busy, take a little time to slow down, open God’s Word, and spend the morning alongside other men who are seeking to follow Christ faithfully.

Our Men’s Prayer Breakfast meets tomorrow at 7:00 AM, and we’ll share a meal, worship together, spend time in the Word, pray for one another, and enjoy the kind of fellowship that strengthens and encourages us for the road ahead.

No matter what season you’re walking through, there is value in having other godly men beside you. Men who will pray with you, challenge you, encourage you, and point you back to Jesus.

So set the alarm, bring your Bible, come hungry (for breakfast AND the Word), and join us tomorrow morning.

We can’t wait for church tomorrow!

There’s a whole week behind us, and before another one begins, we get to turn our attention toward the Lord together.

Tomorrow morning, we’ll worship. We’ll pray. We’ll open our Bibles and hear from God’s Word. We’ll catch up with friends, welcome new faces, encourage one another, and most importantly, we’ll make much of Jesus.

Come with an expectant heart. Come ready to worship. Come needing encouragement. Come ready to give it. There’s no special preparation required. Just bring yourself, your Bible, and a willingness to let the Lord meet you right where you are.

Sunday doesn’t end when we walk out the doors.

Yesterday gave us so much to carry into a new week: time in God’s Word, worship, conversations in the hallway, laughter at the doors, and the simple gift of being surrounded by a church family that genuinely enjoys doing life together.

And then came the question from yesterday’s message: “So Now What?”

Romans 12:1–8 takes everything we know about the mercy of God and brings it right into the way we live. We’re called to offer our lives to Him, to refuse to be shaped by the patterns of this world, and instead to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

That transformation doesn’t happen only on Sunday.

It happens on Monday morning when we choose truth over the thoughts pulling us in another direction. It happens when we surrender our plans, attitudes, reactions, and priorities to the Lord. It happens when we humbly use the gifts He has given us to serve someone else.

So as we step into this week, maybe our prayer can be simple:

Lord, renew my mind. Transform the way I think. Help me recognize Your will, use what You’ve given me well, and let my life be an offering to You.

And what a gift that we don’t have to walk it out alone. We have His Word, His Spirit, and a church family beside us along the way.

Sometimes church looks like this.

A hand on a shoulder. A quiet prayer. Someone standing beside you when you need it most.

Faith was never meant to be lived at a distance from one another. God has given us the beautiful gift of His Church. A place to know and be known, to pray and be prayed for, to encourage and be encouraged, and above all, to keep pointing one another back to Jesus.

Tomorrow morning, we’d love for you to be part of it.

And because it is Communion Sunday, we’ll share in a sacred reminder of what holds us all together in the first place: the finished work of Jesus Christ. We’ll remember His sacrifice, give thanks for His grace, and proclaim together the hope we have because the tomb is empty and our Savior lives.

Maybe you need prayer tomorrow. Maybe you’re coming ready to pray for someone else. Maybe you simply need a morning surrounded by people who will help turn your eyes back toward the Lord.

Come. There’s room for all of it.

A special word of encouragement from Pastor Marty for you today.

Whatever this week holds, may we be reminded to keep our hearts fixed on the Lord, to trust Him in every circumstance. To continually seek Him and wait on Him, because He is faithful.

We pray this brief encouragement strengthens your heart today and points you back to the One who is with you through it all. Take a moment to listen and share it with someone who may need a little encouragement today.

Glimpses from church this morning…

What a beautiful morning in the presence of the Lord.

We were blessed with a wonderful time of worship with Hanz Ives, lifting our voices and turning our attention fully toward Jesus. For those moments, everything else faded into the background as our attention turned toward Him, voices lifted, hearts surrendered, and praise offered simply because He is worthy.

And this morning was also a reminder that we aren’t meant to leave church unchanged.

We need the continual refilling of the Holy Spirit. Not simply for ourselves, but so that we can go. To speak the Gospel with boldness. To love people well. To serve wherever He places us. To be available. To be sensitive to His leading and willing to say, “Lord, use me.”

The same Spirit who fills us also equips us to step back into our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities carrying the hope of Jesus with us.

May that be our prayer as we begin a new week:

Fill us again, Lord. Give us boldness. Give us willing hearts. And use our lives to make Jesus known.

Worship.

When life is full of blessing and joy.

When our hearts ache and prayers seem unanswered.

When the road ahead is clear, and when we can’t see beyond the next step.

When we’re celebrating God’s goodness, and when we’re simply choosing to trust that He is still good.

When the words come easily, and when all we can offer Him is a quiet, “Jesus, I need You.”

We worship.

Not because our circumstances are always good, but because our God always is. He is faithful in every season, present in every moment, and worthy of our praise through every high and every low.

This Sunday, come as you are. Bring the joy. Bring the questions. Bring the weariness. Bring the gratitude. There is something beautiful about gathering as the body of Christ and turning our hearts toward Jesus together.

Join us as we worship, pray, open God’s Word, and remind one another where our hope is found.

“When you allow Jesus to lead your life, it’ll set you free.”

Such a simple statement from Pastor Marty yesterday, but one worth carrying with us into this week.

The Gospel isn’t simply the message that saves us once. It is the truth we live in every single day. When life feels heavy, when circumstances change without warning, when we don’t understand what God is doing, or when we simply feel weary from carrying the weight of life, the Gospel remains good news.

Jesus is still our hope.
His grace is still sufficient.
His promises are still true.
And He is still worthy of our trust.

Allowing Jesus to lead means loosening our grip on the things we were never meant to control in the first place. It means trusting Him with today, with tomorrow, with our questions, our fears, our plans, and even the places that hurt. There is freedom in surrendering all of it to the One who already holds us.

Yesterday’s message reminded us that the Gospel truly does change everything. Not only our eternity, but the way we walk through this life right now.
