Happy birthday, Lashawn 🎉🎈🎉🎈
Lashawn is a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend! She was born and raised in Louisiana. In addition to being a licensed evangelist in the Church of God in Christ, Lashawn is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a bachelors degree in psychology and anthropology. She plans to resume a masters in marriage & family therapy soon. She’s a Child Find Special Education, Program Coordinator with the District of Columbia Public Schools where conducts early childhood developmental assessments, provides professional development training and facilitates special education parent workshops. Lashawn also is Founder, Chief Executive Director of Grace Case , Inc. , a faith-based nonprofit community organization comprised of seven key principles to EMPOWER female expectant/teen parents as well as young women ages 13-25 in Prince George's County, Maryland and surrounding counties.
Her special talents are event planning, mentorship & counseling , preaching & teaching the word of God and ministering. Lashawn’s special interest include youth advocacy, young women rights, and educational equality for people of color.
Lashawn absolutely LOVES to read and believes that knowledge is power. She enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and three children. She loves being a mom and a wife, and enjoys serving in youth ministry with her husband, Youth Pastor Ron Richardson.
Lashawn is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.; a Group Facilitator- Maryland Department of Juvenile Services; G.E. Patterson District - Youth Chairlady; and Greater Maryland First Jurisdiction Women's Department - Teen Pregnancy Prevention Ministry Jurisdictional Liason & Coordinator.
A fun fact about Lashawn is she loves all things fashion (and shopping), and as a young girl she wanted to be a fashion designer when she grew up.
