Grace Church A Bible believing Christian church. What We Believe
1. The Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, are the Word of God.
2. He loves old buildings and houses.

There is one God that exists eternally in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
3. The universe was created by God as described in the book of Genesis.
4. There was no death until Adam sinned.
5. All men are sinners in the need of redemption.
6. The second member of the Godhead, the Word of God, became the God-man of history by being born of the Virgin Mary.
7. Jesus was crucif

ied on the cross of Calvary, and died a death he did not have to die, to pay for our sins.
8. He was resurrected on the third day showing us that He defeated death.
9. He ascended into heaven and will return bodily and visibly again.
10. Salvation is a free gift that men and women receive by repentance and trusting in the finished work of Christ.
11. The eternal security of the believer.
12. The Church consists of all those that have believed in Christ since the day of Pentecost.
13. The premillennial pretribulational return of the Lord Jesus.
14. At the end of history those that trusted Christ will spend eternity in God’s presence. Those that rejected Christ will suffer eternal punishment.
15. The church has two Ordinances instituted by Christ, Baptism and Communion. Our Pastor

Pastor Jeff Haynes

Jeff Haynes attended Emmaus Bible College located in Oak Park, IL, it has since moved to Dubuque Iowa. He is a history buff, and believes that the Bible contains the true story of the world. He is a screaming conservative, both theologically and politically. He loves to read and is a classic movie buff, especially silent films. He now lives in Indiana, in an old decrepit Victorian house with his wife, Sharon, his one remaining unmarried child, their dogs including his beloved pit bull - Kal-El, a parrot and a cat. Take 1st Ave north to just past Thatcher/1st merge. Turn right on Wrightwood and go 2 blocks to Grace Church (on left side of street on Budd/Wrightwood corner)
From Grand Ave:
Take 1st/Thatcher south one block to Wrightwood and turn left. Go 2 blocks to Grace Church (on left side of street on Budd/Wrightwood corner.) From I-90:
Take Cumberland exit south. Just past Grand Ave turn left on Wrightwood. Go two blocks to corner of Budd and Wrightwood. Note: 1st Ave, Thatcher and Cumberland are all the same street. We’re two blocks east of the River Grove Police Station and Fire Department on the corner of
Budd and Wrightwood.
