As Pope Leo XIV has highlighted for every month of this year, he releases his monthly prayer intention for the month of June. He invites Catholics around the world to remember a special intention in their prayers. Prayers requested for June are for the values of sports:

Let us pray that sports be an instrument of peace, encounter, and dialogue among cultures and nations, and that they promote values such as respect, solidarity, and personal growth.

Enjoy food and fellowship after all Sunday Masses at both of our parish’s beautiful churches on Sunday, June 14! Coffee on the Plaza returns to St. Bernardine Church following the 8 a.m. Mass and at St. Luke Church for the 9:30 and 11 a.m. Masses. The Men’s Club is hosting at both sites. It’s a great way to start the month of June!

Our parish and St. Luke School marched together in the 101st annual River Forest Memorial Day Parade.
Thank you to everyone who came out and walked with us! Another thank you to the St. Luke and St. Bernardine Men’s Club for hosting a donut fundraiser for wounded veterans. It was a beautiful day to honor veterans with our community. Hope to see you next year!
