RCC's purpose is to help people know, trust, and develop a devoted personal relationship with Jesus. In other words, we want to help each other experience a relationship with Jesus that is real, personal, and life-changing. How awesome to hear from our Student Ministry Resident, Evan, this past Sunday! Connecting with each of you every Sunday and worshipping alongside everyone is a gift. Evan continued our teaching on John with chapter 19. It’s in this chapter that Jesus is put on the cross and speaks the words “It is finished.” (John 19:30). Jesus did not say this in defeat; His words were a declaration that the price of our sins were paid in full.

Do you believe that “it is finished” and that Jesus’ work on the cross is enough? How does accepting this truth change the way you live? Take some time to reflect on these truths this week and we’ll see you NEXT SUNDAY for our 9:30 Baptism Celebration Service on the patio. We can’t wait!

John 18 reminds us that Jesus knew the pain He was about to face, and He still chose to walk into it willingly. Life will bring hard things our way, but we don’t have to face them alone. We can trust Jesus because He is truth. Where do you look for your source of truth?
