New Way Archery Finding A New Path Through Life

Good morning all! Stacie here 👋
First of all I want you to know that I have had so much fun with each of yal! From kids to parents! I know I'm not the "social bug" and I don't mix in well, lol, but you were all so fun to hang out with and absolutely made things easy!

When my daughter started archery I remember listening to her coach and other people talk about shooting lessons, but all I could hear was life and spiritual lessons!
The first is our stance, foundation. Our foundation must be strong and correct to keep the shot strong! Who/What are we teaching our kids is the strongest foundation?
Next is our anchor point. That sweet spot we go to each and every time we draw our bows. That familiar spot that never changes! Without it the shot will never be the same. It helps to repeat what we know is right. It's our way to get to the goal we are trying for! It holds firm when we use it. Who/What are we teaching our kids to anchor to for help when we need strength?

There are countless other examples! They all lead back to Christ!
This is why archery is such an awesome way to show God to kids!
I love how He is woven into every part of archery! 🎯🏹❤️

I also feel like we're not finished!
I feel like we will continue this conversation later!
Sometimes the way forward looks different than expected, but turns out to be better than imagined!
So for now we are trying to follow God's path forward and praying that where He leads, we will always be willing to follow!
(It may sound selfish, but I pray it leads back to yal soon! )

I have been praying about this for some time and it's my responsibility to let you all know that I am canceling the weekly archery shoots until further notice. There are several reasons why I'm choosing to do this and I pray that we can begin again in the future. I have loved the time together with each of you. Hopefully we can once again gather together and enjoy our sport.

Good morning!
I wanted to let everyone know that we won't be shooting this evening.
We will be taking today to observe Good Friday. We will be remembering the sacrifice that Jesus gave for each of us. I pray you have a blessed day and Easter weekend!
I also pray that you all are blessed and running over with the love that was given for you!
We are so blessed and so thankful for each and every one of you!

Awesome sauce, Friday is on its way!!! This is Richard by the way, and I'm really excited to see what Friday has in store for us. We have made a few range changes that will hopefully speed things along some.
Something that is on my mind that I am asking support for, it might be a sensitive request but the couch, recliner and love seat were brought in with the intention of parents and adults to have a comfortable place to relax, talk and watch the kids shoot. We have put a lot of personal time, effort, finances, thoughts and energy into making this a place of activities and movement for the youth. When I see a child sitting there, reclined and lost in a screen it tells me that all that we have done just isn't enough, and that hurts.
We'll do everything we can to keep your kids active and involved. My request is for your support in keeping that area open only for adults. Adults, get all of the screen time you want or need. I plan to have WI-FI available soon for your convenience. So you can take advantage of some "free" time to tend to work or personal business. I only ask that any screen times that the kids get is not at the range, please. I pray that this doesn't push anyone away or upset anyone. I am an open minded person and if anyone has a need to talk about this just ask me and I'll listen.

To begin with I want to apologize to all of you wonderful folks who blessed New Way Archery last night for stopping by. Speaking for myself (Richard) I found that I was completely unprepared to deal with that many kids! THATS A WONDERFUL PROBLEM TO HAVE!!!! Now Stacie and I know our limits to this point, what we need to do to improve, what parts we need to rejuvenate from our beginning ( going back to the beginning has been coming up lot) that will make the entire process smoother.
I know that our range and building are kind of rough and things aren't top of the line but we'll get there. The things truly matter are found there i abundance, that's love, acceptance safety and most important of all the Spirit of Christ.
I'm still overwhelmed, happy and, as my dad would say " grinning like a mule eating sand briars "
Huge thank you all again and please come back!!!
