These are rules that have always been in the cemetery by laws since the early 80’s.

Staff at the Glenfield Funeral Home and Memorial Parks in New Albany MS owners of Tippah Memorial Gardenss, are asking that family members clear grave markers of all items not in vases before Monday, April 15, 2024.
This rule has always been in the bylaws, but was never enforced before we took over!

Mowing season at the cemetery runs from April 15 to October 30. Items stuck in the ground near graves such as wreathes, flower pots, solar lights, toys, shepherds hooks etc., impede mowing and w**d eating at the cemetery. When items are stuck in the ground, it's more difficult for staff to maintain the graves.

After April 15th , staff will collect and discard all items not in vases.
Family members should pick up any items not in vases they want to keep before April 15th!
The first two pictures are examples of items not allowed in the cemetery!
The last picture is what’s allowed!

Welcome to the page for Tippah Memorial Gardens in Ripley,MS.
Tippah Memorial is owned by Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany, MS.
Paul and Sharla Lazenby are the managers. We took over Tippah Memorial back in March of 2023.
