What if God told you to make room for something you couldn't see yet?
This Sunday we are gathering for Celebration Sunday at Ripley Church of the Nazarene — and we have a lot to be grateful for. But more than looking back, we are looking forward. We believe God is up to something, and we do not want to miss it.
This week's message comes from Isaiah 54:2: "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back."
It is a word for anyone who has been playing it safe. Anyone who has been waiting for the right moment. Anyone who is ready to believe God for more than they can currently see.
Come join us. You do not have to have it all together to walk through our doors. We are a family-friendly church and every seat is open to you.
Sunday, June 15 at 11:00 AM Ripley Church of the Nazarene, Ripley WV All are welcome.
What is one thing you are believing God for this year? Drop it in the comments.

Here Comes The Sun, and so does the need!

This summer, the Ripley Nazarene Mission Family Resource Center is stocking up on diapers and wipes for local babies and families who need them most. Every dollar you give through our Summer Baby Pantry Drive puts essentials in the hands of moms and dads who are doing their best. Let's shine some light together this season.

Who is Melchizedek?
He shows up in the Bible for exactly three verses. No backstory. No follow-up. He appears, does something remarkable, and disappears. Yet a thousand years later a psalm is written about him, and the New Testament holds him up as a picture of Jesus himself.
This Sunday we are continuing our One Hit Wonders series -- Bible characters who only appear once but leave a mark that lasts forever. This week: Melchizedek, the most mysterious priest in all of Scripture.
Join us tomorrow, Sunday at 11am.
In person: Ripley Church of the Nazarene, 209 Cedar Lakes Drive, Ripley WV Online: ripleynaz.online.church
Who is someone in your life who showed up at exactly the right moment and changed everything? Drop their name in the comments. We would love to celebrate them.

Ever hear a song and think, "I have no idea who sings this, but I love it"?
That's a one-hit wonder. A moment that mattered even though the name got forgotten.
This morning we're kicking off a brand new series called One Hit Wonders — and it turns out the Bible is full of them. People who show up in just one scene, say almost nothing, and somehow change everything.
Today we're looking at one of the strangest stories in all of Scripture. A nameless woman. A desperate king. And a moment that proves you don't have to be in every chapter to matter.
Join us this morning at 11:00 AM at Ripley Church of the Nazarene. We would love to have you with us.
Who's one person you could bring this morning? Tag them below.
