Sending a huge "Thank You" to everyone who donated baked goods, pop, water, chips, or helped in any way to pull our Thrifty on 150 lunch stand together last Saturday. We truly appreciate your efforts in supporting this fund raiser. An even bigger thanks goes to our loyal patrons. Although our crowd was down considerably, we still managed to have a successful day. I attribute our success totally to the generosity of our loyal repeat customers each year. Our community continues to open their hearts for our mission project year after year. Without this support, not just this event, but all of our fund raisers would not be possible. We thank you and our mission/outreach partners will thank you as well.

Reminder to Rio Church Ladies
This Saturday, May 9, we will be hosting our Thrifty on 150 Food Stand. If you agreed to provide items for this fund raiser, we request that you drop those items off at the church by 9:00 AM. Thanks to all who agreed to donate the requested items. We appreciate your willingness to help with this and all fund raisers.

The Meatball Supper went very well. The turnout was a little less then previous years, but it was still a success. We want to thank everyone who came and attended our supper. Many of you travel from outside of the Rio community and we thank you for coming. It’s always good to see people catch up with one another or meet someone new. The fellowship is a great thing to watch. We also were missing a few of our regular helpers. We missed them, but the people that were there, stepped up to the plate and did a wonderful job. So thank you. Truly, we want to thank everyone for making our Swedish Meatball Supper a success every year. Looking forward to serving you all again next year.
