We believe in the local church (both in person and in an online community) as a place where believers can experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ by gathering together for worship, building relationships, and strengthening one another as we strive to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our daily actions. We remember. Let us pray-

God of compassion, we remember the sorrow of this day. We hold in prayer the innocent lives lost in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.
We honor the courage of first responders and citizens who ran toward danger. We lift up families who still grieve and carry the weight of that day and we pray comfort each one.

Lord, You know our fear, our pain, and our loss. In Your mercy we pray bring healing and hope to this great nation. Turn our hearts away from hatred and division, and call us back to the unity and kindness we shared in our darkest hour. Strengthen our communities by making us instruments of peace. Let love have the last word, now and forever. In Your healing and sovereign name Jesus we pray.
