Let us join together in prayer today over our country on this national day of prayer.
Heavenly Father,
Today we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that You alone are our hope, our refuge, and our foundation. On this National Day of Prayer, we lift up our country to You and ask for Your mercy, wisdom, and guidance over every community, every family, and every leader.
Lord, place Your hand of protection over our nation. Guard us physically, spiritually, and emotionally. In uncertain times, remind us that our security is not found in earthly strength, but in Your faithful presence. Be a shield around us and bring peace where there is fear, division, or unrest.
We pray for our leaders at every level—national, state, and local. Grant them wisdom that comes from above, hearts that are humble before You, and courage to lead with integrity, compassion, and truth. May they seek Your direction above personal ambition and govern with justice, mercy, and humility.
Father, heal the divisions among us. Where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness. Where there is pride, bring humility. Where there is confusion, bring truth. Teach us again how to listen, honor one another, and walk in unity without losing sight of Your truth. Help us remember that we are stronger when we love our neighbors as You have loved us.
May the love of Christ be clearly seen throughout our country—in our homes, churches, schools, workplaces, and communities. Let kindness overcome hatred, hope overcome despair, and compassion overcome indifference. Use Your people to shine the light of Jesus in a world longing for peace and purpose.
Lord, awaken hearts to turn toward You. Let revival begin in us first. May we be people who pray faithfully, love deeply, serve humbly, and trust fully in Your goodness.
We declare that our hope is in You, and we thank You that You are still working, still leading, and still faithful to guide us forward.
