The Messiah’s Triumph and Kingdom
(Acts 4:23–31)
Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”
“I will declare the decree:
The LORD has said to Me,
You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”
Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
Serve the LORD with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Psalm 2)

Proverbs 29:2
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice;
But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”

America has been groaning for almost 4 years.

It’s been brought to my attention that some people think Christians should not be involved in politics and government.

Because Christians have not been involved in politics and government is the reason we have our government involved in abortion on demand, transgender mutilation of children, laws against parental consent and involvement in their children’s education, godless indoctrination in our public schools and various other unbiblical anti-family policies. Even anti-Israel and pro-Iranian policies.

Evil prevails when good men and women stay silent and do nothing .

James 2:17-19
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

Throughout the entire Bible God’s people have been involved in politics and government. It’s time God’s people stood up and voted for the restoration of Biblical principles. In this election vote for policies and candidates that actually reflect God’s Biblical values and principles. Stop this madness that is destroying our country.

A true believer in Jesus Christ cannot vote for a candidate that supports on demand abortion at all stages of pregnancy and transgender mutilation of children.

James 2:19
You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

Just believing in God is NOT enough. Actions speak louder than words. Abortion and believing in God don’t/CAN’T mix.

Praise Jesus for answered prayers! We are thankful Jesus for weakening the storm! We continue to pray for hurricane Helene victims in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida as well as hurricane Milton victims last night. You are faithful and always hear our cry!

We pray for Florida, Lord Jesus intervene and calm the storm! Protect the people of Florida.

Psalms 107:28-30
Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble,
And He brings them out of their distresses.
He calms the storm,
So that its waves are still.
Then they are glad because they are quiet;
So He guides them to their desired haven.

God described David as a man after His own heart. God chose David to be king over the nation of Israel and from David’s linage God brought Jesus Christ into the world to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

David committed adultery with Bathsheba, got her pregnant and then conspired to have her husband murdered to cover up the adulterous affair.

All of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. That includes all of our leaders, those in office and those seeking office.

As Jesus said when a woman was brought to Him who had been caught in adultery, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

Just as the Psalmist wrote: Psalms 78:38-39
But He, (God) being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity,
And did not destroy them.
Yes, many a time He turned His anger away,
And did not stir up all His wrath;
For He remembered that they were but flesh,
A breath that passes away and does not come again.

We all need to remember that we are just flesh and we all need a savior, we all need grace, love, compassion and forgiveness.

I need to remember this…
