Unitarian Universalist Westside Congregation

Unitarian Universalist Westside Congregation UUs celebrate and welcome diversity in beliefs, lifestyles and worship. We commit to honoring all & s ARE MY BELIEFS WELCOME IN UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISM?

Office hours: Monday & Tuesday, 11am - 1pm

While members may also follow various practices or belief systems, we are united in affirming and promoting UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISM's 7 PRINCIPLES:

* The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
* Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
* Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;

* A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
* The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
* The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
* Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. WHO ARE WE? -- WE ARE:

* A joyful fellowship of people who take care of each other;
* Free to discover our own religious paths;
* A democratic congregation free to speak out from the pulpit and pew;
* Member initiated interest groups give life to our values: building compassion, respect, and justice; working together to make the world a better place to pass along to our children. Unitarian Universalism welcomes people with diverse beliefs. There is a rich dialogue in our congregations about many spiritual topics.
