We are home, and what a wonderful week we had with our Kids group at Falls Creek!
We are so blessed to have the opportunity to work with these students and watch God move in their lives. Throughout the week, we witnessed hearts being touched by the presence of God in powerful ways.
Kari led outstanding Bible studies each morning, and I was blessed to spend the evenings speaking truth into the lives of our students. Our Camp Pastor, James Swain, brought God's Word to life through powerful messages and unforgettable illustrations. Every worker served this week with a transparent heart and a genuine desire to share Jesus with these young people.
A special thank you to Linda Rapier and David Chapman for keeping us fed so well throughout the week. Alexis Ruiz, Tessa Boyd, Aniston Rapier and Thomas Benefield worked tirelessly, serving as wonderful examples for our students to follow. Rita Tripp faithfully hauled our supplies to and from Falls Creek, helping make the week possible.
As Scripture reminds us, we are one body with many members, each serving a unique purpose (Romans 12:4-5, NIV: "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."). Thank you, church family, for supporting us and allowing us to be part of Kids Falls Creek 2026.
Please join us tomorrow morning as these students help lead our worship service. They will be sharing decisions they made this week and taking their first steps toward turning those decisions into lifelong commitments. Come support them with your presence and hear firsthand how God spoke to their hearts.
We will also take time during our morning service to honor Dr. Mike and Rita Tripp for their many years of faithful service to the Lord and to First Baptist Church Ringling. Following worship, we will gather for a luncheon in their honor. Let me encourage you to write them a card, send them a note, or simply be there to offer a hug and a heartfelt thank you for the legacy of faith they have left in our church and community.
Tomorrow will truly be a special morning, and we would love for each of you to be a part of it.
Grab your Bible, invite a friend...I am excited to share tomorrow with you.
