Preschool serving ages 2-PreK. Thank you for your interest in Ringgold First Baptist Pre-K and Learning Center.

As a center, we operate with 5 classrooms that serve children 2-5 years of age by September 1st of the current school year. We have one 2 year old class, two 3 Year Pre-K classes and two 4 Year Pre-K classes that are licensed with Bright from the Start: Georgia's Department of Early Care and Learning. We have served the families and children of the community since 1969. Our center offers faith-bas

ed learning, teaching the love of Christ and good self-image, while creating a love of learning that prepares them for success in their future years of schooling. We use the Wee Learn curriculum by LifeWay to lay a Biblical foundation and a better understanding of Jesus Christ. We also use Handwriting Without Tears and Zoo Phonics to promote alphabet knowledge and handwriting.

Due to black ice on back roads and unsafe driving conditions, CCPS along with RFBK will operate on a 2-hour delay Tuesday, March 17.

Due to the severe storms forecast for Monday, March 16, 2026, CCPS along with RFBK will operate on a 2-hour delay. The anticipated strong winds make it unsafe for our buses to operate, in addition to downed trees and power lines. Early arrival drop off will begin at 9:15 AM and regular drop off starting at 9:45 AM. We will dismiss at normal time. Thank you for supporting safety first.

Catoosa County Schools along with Ringgold First Baptist Prek and Learning Center will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 2, due to lingering ice and freezing temperatures.

CCPS along with Ringgold First Baptist Prek will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, January 27. Pushing our start time back allows transportation to occur after sunrise. This raises temperatures slightly, improves visibility, and provides the visibility and time needed to resolve cold-start bus issues.

Early Arrival beginning at 9:15 AM. Regular arrival beginning at 9:45 AM. Half day dismissal will still dismiss at normal hours. We will still have aftercare.

Due to our area being under an ice storm warning and forecasted temperatures for Monday remaining below freezing, CCPS along with Ringgold Firt Baptist Prek will be closed on Monday, January 26th. We will continue to monitor the forecast and send out timely notifications for any decisions beyond Monday. The safety of our students and staff continues to and will always be our top priority.

CCPS along with Ringgold First Baptist Prek will operate on a 2-hour delay on Monday due to dangerously low temperatures. With over 6,500 students waiting at bus stops, this delay ensures safer conditions for our bus riders and student drivers.

Due to severe flooding, particularly in the county’s west side, CCPS along with Ringgold First Baptist PreK will open on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, August 13, 2025

2 hour delay drop off time:
Early Arrival students 9:15 to 9:45 AM
Regular arrival students 9:45 AM

We will still start half day dismissal beginning at 11:30 AM for our 2’s and 11:45 AM for our 3’s and 4’s

If your child is in enrolled in aftercare they will still stay till regular time of 4:15 PM.

Remember we follow Catoosa County Public Schools for all closings/delays.
