As we process the heartbreaking news of the unexpected passing of Ringgold High School teacher, Mr. Lanphier, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this loss.
To our students, teachers, families, and the entire Ringgold community, please know that we are here for you in any way we can be. We want our students to know how deeply they are loved, not only by the people around them, but by a God who sees them, knows them, and loves them more than they could ever imagine.
Above all, we want every student to know this: YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. Even in the darkest moments, when life feels overwhelming and it is hard to see a way forward, there are people who care, people who are willing to listen, and a God whose love never leaves you. You do not have to carry your burdens by yourself. Please reach out, speak up, and let someone walk alongside you. You matter more than you know, and your life is so valuable.
As a community, let this be a reminder to check on your friends, ask someone how they are really doing, offer a listening ear, and love people a little harder. You never know what someone may be carrying behind a smile. A simple text, a conversation, or letting someone know they matter can make more of a difference than you realize. Be kind, be intentional, and never hesitate to remind someone that they are loved.
We are praying for the mental and emotional well-being of our students, the family and friends of Mr. Lanphier, our teachers and administrators, and our entire community. We pray for comfort, strength, peace, and healing in the days ahead.
