Shepherd Staff Christian Counseling We believe that the Word of God holds the key to mental and spiritual well being and healing. Dr. Kim Brunner holds a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical counseling.

She is a Chaplain with the Southern Cross emergency responce chaplains as well as The Barnabas Society of Christ First Church in Ringgold. Chaplain Filip Brunner holds a Batchelor's in Theology and is a long time author, writer, and speaker. He is an ordained preacher and chaplain with the SBC. He is a on call chaplain with the Parkridge Medical Center. He is the director of intercesory prayer and a Chaplain with The Barnabas Society of Christ First Church in Ringgold.

Today's Promise from the Bible
Psalm 73:23-24
Nevertheless I [am] continually with thee: thou hast holden [me] by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me [to] glory.
Reflection

My Prayer: Gracious Father, thank You for continually being present within my life! Thank You for loving me with such unconditional adoration! Make me worthy of Your wonderful devotion toward me that I may give You honour and praise. Cause me to have a passionate desire toward Your word that I may please You in all I do and say. May I desire nothing on this desolate earth but the future glory with You!

Today's Promise from the Bible
Philippians 3:9
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Reflection

When we accept Christ as our Savior, His righteousness is placed upon us. It is not our own semblance of righteousness (which is as filthy rags) that clothes us, but Christ's own perfection (which is as robes of white).

My Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for Your love that allows me to be clothed in Your righteousness! May I never take it for granted!
