Last week we had an opportunity to lead several leaders in worship. As I was preparing something hit me.
How many times have I been in a place where worship was being lead by someone else and instead of joining in, I was evaluating.
God is worthy of our praise all the time. When the music and singing is good and yes, even when we would think it not so much. The situation does not change the God being worshipped. The abilities, the equipment and gear doesn't change who He is. I immediately realized that I should never make that mistake again.
While sometimes I am intentionally trying to see how something is done or listening to music I deem good. I will not allow a moment to worship Him pass.
I told the leaders as I took the stage, no matter why your hear starting now Lets Worship...
Maybe just for me, but there ya go...
